You could have easily just asked.

No, I am not. However that doesn't mean I can't be surprised every now and then.

[but he remains calm. he was caught off guard so there was no point in trying to deny it. plus, there were more important matters at hand. that being the thing swimming in the water and watching them.]

I cannot say with one hundred percent certainty, but it is extremely likely that it is. As for how it shrank I honestly have no idea. I have yet to visit to lake to see if something happened there.
