*Still waiting in his sitting room, Treize raises an eyebrow at the colorfully-dressed figure as he approaches*

We haven't met before. Did Dr. Hunter send you?

*Silly Lavi, Treize can do both 8D. Treize takes a few moments to look him over - he's skinny, but the way he carries himself suggests that there's more to his frame than meets the eye. And it's not like Naomi would have referred him anyone who she didn't think was capable of the job.*

I am. And who might you be?

*smoothly* Certainly - that's quite understandable. What, then, would you like to know?

Were you here for the attack of the shadow creatures? If you were, then that sort of thing should be obvious.

If you were not - this world was invaded by monsters made of shadow that attacked anyone they saw ferociously. People were wounded, though I do not believe any were killed, thankfully. Prior to that, there had been a severe earthquake and week-long storm.

I believe that an organized team of volunteers to defend the innocent and to help out in any further disasters is ultimately necessary to protect the peace of this world.

Naturally. I have experience as a commander and tactician, and as near as I can tell, the only other man with said qualifications has his own small force of sorts - and the two of us will be working in tandem.

...you imagine that I might use it to attempt to seize power? *He says completely calmly, not looking angry in the least*

Of course there is.

Naturally, the only proof I can offer you otherwise is my word. This is an inherently chaotic world, it seems. It would be impractical for anyone to try and seize power here, I feel.
