It wasn't strange for Lily to want to be out and about. Even as a child, she wandered frequently - though, usually, she was in the company of Petunia. Yet, lately, she had found some modicum of peace in wandering by herself. She was armed with her wand, of course, and her Dreamberry. The risk, in her eyes, was minimal.
Today, however, instead of wandering aimlessly, Lily decided to visit the lake. Sitting at the edge, balancing a plate of toast in her lap, she exhaled, smiling faintly as her breath turned into fog. She then picked up a slice of bread and tossed it into the water. Almost immediately, a tentacle reached up and pulled it underwater.
"You must be hungry, hm?" she tossed several more pieces in before nibbling on the last one, "I need to do something for them, Mister Squid. Or is it Misses Squid?" Lily shifted and curled a leg under her, "I know they miss him. I think I can understand why." she glanced down, frowning, "I need to cheer them up somehow, though. It's miserable watching them looking so sad."
And it hurt her heart. One way or another, she would comfort them. She only hoped she made it in time.
