The team had been "dropped" off at a high point above the location of the knife. It would take a few hours to descend down, but fortunately there were several wide paths to make the climb easier. Still, with the high winds and cold temperatures, the way was going to be dangerous.
As the group drew closer to the knife, a strange sense of darkness slowly started to fall around them. The air felt colder and breathing would eventually become difficult. How long would it take before the miasma from the knife reached them? What dangers lurked before them? And most importantly-would they be able to break the knife?
