Elevenses it was then. That had been the time set for his meeting with his younger cousin, the Earl of Phantomhive. It wasn't exactly a meeting Edward was looking forward to either, all things considering. However, family was family, and grudges could be pushed aside temporarily if he wished to have a chance at grasping his bearings better. He'd already found the guest house on the Manor grounds his residence until he could finally return home and hopefully Ciel wouldn't mind (he would). Thus, five minutes before it was time, Edward left the house and briskly walked to the front of the manor where he knocked loudly and would wait, patiently, until he was answered.
He didn't have to wait long however, for soon enough he was welcomed and ushered in by Ciel's sloppy, unsightly butler (really now - that hair!) and found himself instructed to wait to be greeted. So, standing straight as ever, Edward begain to wait.
The last time he'd seen his brat of a cousin, the boy had been dripping wet with an injured leg, and as much as Edward didn't want to admit it, he hoped the world was treating him a little bit kinder than it had on the cruise ship.
