[ Clovis pulls his head away from the door as soon as the paws hit the it. He presses his inner palm against his ear as that had hurt, not to mention the barking. It is enough to give him to think of something else. But does that mean that Edgeworth is still in there? His hands raise as he wonders if something had happened. At the very least, he couldn't leave the dog by itself... could he? He looks off for all of a few seconds before deciding that would make him look bad.
Shaking, he gets to his feet to run to find a fire extinguisher. Once found, he returns to the door to start beating on the doorknob. It takes more than enough hits because he is rather weak in strength, and his panic occasionally has him swing too hard and miss what it is that he's swinging at, but it does come off. Clovis pets the dog on the head, before noticing Edgeworth. ]
Miles! [ Like he had not called his friend's name enough. Running over to him, he kneels down -- well, hug the man. He is so glad that he found him. Now Edgeworth can rise up and tell him where they should go to safety. All will be well in the world. Yes, unfortunately, how things are in reality are lost on the rather panicked prince. ]
[That is right. He is not acting properly. Sitting back on his legs, he wipes at his face. Oh, it is a mess. He wishes that he had some way to clean it, but he supposes that it will be all right for now.] I apologize. I usually am not one for such displays of emotions, but I just felt so relieved to see you. [And he lifts his head up to stare at the dog that is running around them barking.] Q-Quiet!
[The prince will blame it on the fact that he has been ill and as such, he has not been in the best of spirits. This makes him emotionally weak and overall just weak. Yes, it is the fault of is immune system that he should act in a manner that is not proper. And so he will accept this and say that it is an honest mistake to ignore.] Now, where should we go to safety, Miles?
It seems as though there is some sort of monster running around... destroying the city. [Clovis sniffles, not so much from fear this time. He reaches into his pocket to take out a handkerchief, and blows his nose, loudly. A gulping sound as he admits that he had to catch his breath a little. Now that his panic was fading, he was returning to his recovering self. He makes a soft noise as he stares at Edgeworth.] So... I was wondering where would be--
[It took him a little while to realize that Edgeworth had just tried to get up and was sitting, before he asked his question. Clovis lightly poked his index fingers together, before the concern took over to crawl the short distance over to his friend.] Are you all right? Were you injured? [Pointing dramatically at Apollo, he blamed the dog as there was no one else around who could have somehow injured the prosecutor.] Bad dog! BAD DOG!
[Stitch was about to do his usual round of exploring the city when the earthquake hit. As he struggled to keep his balance, he remembered all too clearly that Edgeworth was back home with Apollo, vulnerable to whatever the dream world may throw at them at this very moment.
And Lilo... oh no no no no--Not now, not when she's still getting used to the city.]
Edgeworth! Lilo!
[He quickly hurries back, hoping he can get to his Dream Catcher in time to get to them in time.]
[Meanwhile, Kay had gone out to do the groceries, but when the earthquake stuck, her first thought was of Edgeworth, still asleep back in his place (or so she believed), and of Lilo and Stitch and Apollo. She breaks into a run, still clutching the bag in both arms.
On the way, she sees a familiar, small blue figure hurrying the same way she was.]
