[ As three in the afternoon rolled around, dreamberries suddenly crackled to life, greeting their owner with static. Those in use had calls dropped in favour of this new contact. There was no name attached or an image of who it could be from. Everything came up blocked and even the most tech-savvy wouldn't be able to trace the call back to any ( Read more... )

[not sure what to make of this really.]

You make it sound as if catching a cold here would be different than usual.

Mountains float in the sky and dreams can be interacted with. Careful how you define such arbitrary ideas as 'the usual'.

So you are suggesting that even illnesses in Somarium could have its own unique characteristics compared to what we may be used to back in our own worlds.

Why would it not be in our "best interest" to catch a cold here?

The boundaries of many things can be stretched but there's always a breaking point. The scariest creature of all is mankind.

Very well. You mentioned boundaries stretching. Could you be referring to the ones between this world and our own worlds?

A gift? [he's not sure what to make of that one.] What others? Is that the reason why you are remaining anonymous and hiding yourself?

My reasons are my own and for the time being, perhaps it's safer this way. My identity is not necessary for the immediate future.

But perhaps in the distant future.

Just as you have your role to play, I have my own.

A role?

We are all players upon the stage, caught in a world of dreams.
