The sun is high in the sky as the students have been released early from their classes to enjoy the festival set forth before them. The entire school courtyard has been transformed and gives a different sort of atmosphere. It is welcoming to all ages. There are games with prizes with the costume and pumpkin decoration contests have the biggest prizes of all. Food for the season sold everywhere in abundance. Pumpkins are everywhere, some decorated and carved, some plain and waiting for any festival goer to decorate and take home.
And for the adventurous, haze mazes and little tests of courage are about. But nothing compares to the real test of courage looming inside one of the school buildings.
The festival ends with a costume ball for all ages! And the finale of the festival, the surprise that Serenity promised, a Halloween firework spectacular!

- Game and Food Booths: Here are the food and game booths. Everything is very reasonably priced although the prizes are extravagant. The food is delicious and seasonal and there are tables and benches everywhere to sit and eat. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SET UP HAVE YOUR MUSES RUN THEIR OWN BOOTH, so long as it's school appropriate it will be allowed!
- Costume and Pumpkin Contests: Those pesky pumpkins have been put to good use, they are being used for carving and painting! Show off your pumpkins and your costumes, Serenity and faculty will be the judges. The winner will be decided by just that, Serenity and the faculty of the Rose (winner and prizes will be revealed on Sunday).
- Hay Maze: How brave are you? Or perhaps you just want a little fun? Here is the great hay maze set up for all ages!
- Costume Ball and Firework Spectacular: And later in the evening the grand ballroom of the Rose has been put to good use. A Halloween Costume Ball with music and simple foods to enjoy in the late evening. And of course, to end the festival is the firework spectacular!
