Tear will save you! : 3yuliafonichymnsFebruary 8 2009, 02:37:15 UTC
Tear was a bit confused as the girl looked at her strangely, as if she was fearing her. Did she look intimidating? The brown haired woman didn't know for sure, but she was never was a threatening type of person. Despite her icy comments and her soldier attitude, Tear was pretty much very considerate and kind once she opened up. Even though, she kept her composure during battles and encounters, she was able to express the slightest bit of kindness to others when she wasn't fighting.
The maiden continued to approach the girl, realizing her hair was a blond coloured with rather small wings on her back. Wait... wings? The young woman was indeed confused. There were people with wings here? She didn't expect that at all, but somehow, it was to be expected. This world, was not that of another Auldrant, but simply a world where other worldly people had come to as well. She understood that much, so she wasn't too surprised.
Tear was withing a few feet form the girl as she stopped briefly, seeing the girl closed her eyes. The woman's eyes softened a bit as she spoke in an even tone, but there was no hostility about the Seventh Fonist at this point, "Are you lost?" she questioned in a calming manner, perhaps the person would answer?
My heroine, s-sob. *replaces Badou with Tear, lmfao*notyourlolikthxFebruary 8 2009, 03:05:39 UTC
It was slightly comforting to Nill to hear the woman speak in such a tone; it almost reminded her of Naoto, in a way. However, the most important thing to Nill was that she could hear no hidden emotions in the woman's voice. There were no hints of hostility, or of anything else even remotely unpleasant; what she heard was true, and, for that reason alone, honestly, Nill slowly opened her eyes once more.
She looked up at the woman, cautiously eyeing her for a moment before she finally allowed herself to relax, her wings--which had been tense and trembling only moments before--slowly beginning to relax, as well. The woman was still a stranger, and yet she didn't seem as if she meant her any harm. The woman had asked her a question, as well; a simple one, really, and Nill was obviously obligated to respond. But... should she tell her the truth? She honestly didn't know where she was, but if the woman made her come with her, Haine and the others might never find her... on the other hand, maybe she knew where everyone else was....
Still looking up at the stranger before her, Nill nodded tentatively. She certainly couldn't lie about it, after all; she was certainly lost.
Lulz. Tear is like whuuut? XDyuliafonichymnsFebruary 8 2009, 03:12:09 UTC
The young woman only waited patiently, giving the girl space, without moving any closer to her. Tear was not one with motives, as the girl had noticed by now, and she probably did, when she stopped tensing so much. Tear felt almost a bit guilty for seeming a bit hostile to her when she approached. It couldn't be helped. Tear could put her weapon somewhere and come back for it. It had to remain with her.
The maiden then looked a the girl with a calm expression, "Do need assistance on getting somewhere safe? Even though, there are no more lurkers, it is best to take you somewhere where you won't be prone to dangers," she replied honestly, "Do you have comrades here?" she mused again.
Can I call you "Aunt Tear"? roflnotyourlolikthxFebruary 8 2009, 03:38:07 UTC
If Tear didn't have the girl's attention beforehand, she certainly had it once the word "danger" was brought into play. Nill's eyes widened slightly; she hadn't seen anything dangerous, and yet if there were dangerous people lurking around....
...And Naoto, Badou, and Haine were around, as well. Did they know about the possible danger? They could handle it, probably, and yet the girl was still worried. Her... her "comrades", as the woman put them... were they safe?
Nill, looking more frightened than ever, nodded in response to the question, doubtfully, at first, and yet slowly picking up speed. They were around here somewhere; as to where they were, well, she did not know. But they were around.
LMAO! Tear says she's not that old!yuliafonichymnsFebruary 8 2009, 03:44:20 UTC
The girl seemed lonely, so Tear wasn't sure if there were people that know her around, but the young woman would help her, regardless. The young woman waited for the girl to speak or gesture to her that there was no one or if there was someone. Even so, would her comrades really leave her alone like this? It didn't seem right at all to leave a girl here.
"Okay, My name is Tear Grants, there is a tavern that I have stopped by a few days ago. Perhaps that can serve as a shelter for you until your comrades find you," she explained again. Tear was also curious, however to why the blond haired girl had not utter a single word since she appeared. It seemed she did most the talking and the girl nodded her head as a yes to every questions she asked.
Sister Tear, then? ...ROFL WAIT THAT MAKES HER SOUND LIKE A NUN OR SOMETHING. /diesnotyourlolikthxFebruary 8 2009, 03:58:54 UTC
To leave, or not to leave? That was the question that Nill pondered over, looking down at her shoes as she did so. It was sensible, she knew, to stay where she was so that she could easily be found; however, it also seemed sensible to go somewhere safe, especially if there were dangerous people around. The woman wasn't about to trick her, or so Nill believed; if she said there was a tavern--whatever that was--to go to, then there probably was. Besides, the others might go there, as well.
After a moment of intense debate, Nill slowly rose to her feet, carefully dusting off the seat of her skirt as she did so. It made sense to go with the woman; the others would understand. Looking back up at her new acquaintance, Nill nodded once more. She was ready to go to wherever it was that the woman was going to take her.
SURE? XD omfgsgdsghfdkhdg Tear as a num *dies laughing*yuliafonichymnsFebruary 8 2009, 04:10:23 UTC
Tear was relieved that after a moment of pondering the girl decided to trust her. She didn't expect people to trust her first hand, but she would like to do what she could to help others really. She wasn't one that would leave people there to rot. Tear managed to let a small smile spread on her rosy lips as the girl agreed to do as she was asked. It was safer. Since, looking at the blond haired girl, Tear didn't think she was the fighting type at all. So a simple civilian to her. She would have to do whatever it takes to keep the girl safe for now, even if they were strangers.
"I'm glad you are agreeing with me on this... I haven't got your name, what is it?" the woman asked as she started to move along leading the girl towards the opposite direction of here she walked.
Nill, who had begun to trot behind her helpful new acquaintance, faltered slightly when she heard the question that had been asked, her wings dropping once more. Normally, her lack of a voice didn't bother her; she could get along just fine without it, really. However, in moments like the one she had just found herself in, she couldn't help but to feel a pang of longing for the one thing she would never have.
Checking that the woman was paying attention, Nill covered her mouth with her hands and shook her head, trying to mime that she was unable to talk.
The young woman was taken a bit back by the wings. They were rather cute in a sense. The woman tried to fight a red tint that was starting to form across her face. Cute things and the Seventh Fonist go hand in hand. Tear had a weakness for very cute things, and her wings might she add were quite cute. She looked away before she asked to touch them. The young woman stared at her as she did something. What was she trying to say? The woman wondered, her eyes fixed on the girl.
She got it after a few moments. The girl didn't have a voice, and well, Tear should have realized that sooner, "I apologize, I didn't realize that you could not speak sooner," she replied.
Although she tried to hide it, Nill knew that the woman was hiding something; the slight blush and the avoidance certainly showed that. However, it truly wasn't that important at the moment; had it been something she truly needed to be concerned about, there would have been other signs she would have picked up on. As it was, it was just a curious occurrence.
Nill tilted her head slightly as the woman spoke, looking curiously up at her. She was... sorry? She had nothing to be sorry for! Therefore, Nill flashed the woman the smallest of smiles, hoping to tell her that it was perfectly fine; she didn't want her to feel as if she had done something wrong, after all.
Tear only hoped the girl didn't notice at all, since she was usually like this. Though, the sight of cute things was just a bad weakness on her part. No matter how harsh of a soldier she was, she couldn't hide her own likes. She was still a female after all. Tear continued to walk as she looked back every now and then to see if the girl was following. She didn't want the other to be left behind and lost or anything.
Her eyes slightly softened at the girl's kind gesture. The stranger was indeed very kind. The maiden would return that small smile with a nod of her head and the fact that she understood.
Ah, good; the woman caught what she had been trying to get across. Nill certainly felt a little better knowing that everything was fine once more.
...Well, as fine as it ever had been.
Nill continued to tag along behind her, clasping her hands behind her back. She was rather curious about the woman who was helping her, and, much to her chagrin, studying the back of her head truly didn't reveal much about her. She wanted to at least know her name....
Finally, her curiosity got the best of her. She jogged ahead a bit to fall in-step with the woman, remaining beside her for a quite some time, looking down at her feet, before she finally gained the nerve to shyly look up at her companion and point to her, hoping that she would understand that she was simply asking what her name was. Pointing was rude, yes, but when you couldn't speak....
The young woman turned her head towards the girl as she moved up front, asking what her name was? Tear wasn't very good with guessing what people were trying to tell her without words. She didn't understand gestures as well as others, but she could get some of it. She blinked. The girl was asking for her name right?
When the girl did point a moment before, Tear was taken by a bit of surprise, though nothing really showed on her face. She pointed to herself again and made sure the girl was referring to that, "I'm Tear Grants," she replied to the girl with her usual small smile.
Nill returned the smile that was given to her, happy to at least know the woman's name who had helped her. She would be sure to remember it, and to tell the others, when she actually found them; nice people should stick together, in Nill's version of the world.
But, even though she knew Tear's name, Tear still didn't know hers. It wasn't fair, she thought... which is why she gestured for Tear's hand. Although she couldn't talk, she could most definitely write; besides, the same method had worked for Haine when she had told him her name....
Tear waited for her to continue on so she could follow towards the tavern, but the stranger didn't seem to leave just yet. she was trying to do something. The maiden didn't know what she was thinking about, but it must be something at least a little bit pleasant for her to stop briefly and not do anything at all.
When she gestured, however, Tear understood why. Though, she didn't know for what reason but the stranger was trying to tell her something else. Tear blinked again and offered the girl her gloved hand, not sure what the girl was going to do with it, but the maiden would certainly like to know. As well as the wings on her back was starting to tempt Tear even more. So cute.~
Nill gently took Tear's hand in her own, staring worriedly down at the glove. It might make things difficult, but perhaps Tear would be able still feel what she was tracing....
Slowly, carefully, Nill began to trace her name on Tear's palm, trying to press down hard enough so that she would be able to feel what she was writing. First an "N", then an "I", and one "L" after the other; after those were all traced, she then pulled back, pointing to herself. She looked up at Tear, wondering if she was actually able to catch any of it.
