[After telling Aya where he'll be and to expect the errand to remain brief, Omi heads to the estate Nagi and Schuldig share. He keeps his Dreamberry close at hand and remains on high alert as he moves to the door with a small bag slung over one shoulder.
[The door opens on its own and Nagi waves from the nearby couch. He's visibly exhausted and paler than usual, but it could've been a lot worse than a cold this time of year.]
[He can't fault Omi's caution, even if Schuldig's not supposed to be back for a while. Nagi can only imagine the chaos that will happen if his teammate catches one of the enemies helping him out for the sake of an alliance formed before his arrival.]
I hope it helps. Being sick is never pleasant.
[For now, though, the contents of the envelope are more important. He takes the papers out of it and starts skimming what was written down.]
[The papers are typed and bound together with a report cover, complete with a table of contents outlining the information inside it. Omi doesn't half-ass work.]
I didn't attend the training personally. Aya-kun went; I stayed at the shop.
[Were it not Omi typing things up, he'd doubt the importance of essentially third hand knowledge, but he has no reason to give Nagi bad information and Omi's very used to typing up reports.]
I can verify the information with another person I know here if he ended up going too.
[He trusts Omi, to some degree, but Nagi can't completely trust Aya not to withhold some information for personal reasons. It seems to him that Aya always has personal reasons for things. On that note, he gestures at one of the other living room chairs if Omi wants to sit while he reads in case of questions that come up.]
[There is no suffering silently when living with a telepath because no matter how silent someone might think they are, they aren't. If for no reason other than his own sanity, Schuldig was returning early with something for his younger teammate.
Although it appears that Nagi has a surprise for him as well, if the mental signature coming from inside is to be believed.]
[Omi's wariness skyrockets into full alarm mode. In an instant, he's jumped back, turned to Schuldig's voice in a battle-ready stance, and touched his fingers to one of the darts in his emergency pack. He stops just short of drawing it.]
What's the meaning of this?!
[And it's only then things catch up just a little. Schuldig doesn't sound aware that he would be here. That suggests this isn't a trap.
[This isn't supposed to happen and the look on Nagi's face says that he's just as surprised by Schuldig's presence as Omi is. He didn't set up a trap to break their alliance and get his revenge on Weiss this way.]
I'm getting information from him. That's all there is to it.
Then why do you look like you just got caught with your hand in the cookie jar?
[If there was one thing Schuldig had learned it was the best way to get any answer he wanted was to ask a direct question. Even if the verbal reply was a lie, the mind always went for the truth. And in this case the easiest target would be...he turned and smiled at Tsukiyono.]
[It's becoming clearer by the second that Nagi has been caught just as unawares as he has. Was it really all just bad luck, then? It seems that way.
That doesn't make the problem itself any easier. He takes a single step backwards from Schuldig, hand continuing to hover at his weapon without drawing it-- yet. So long as Schuldig doesn't give him a reason to. It's a delicate situation. He has to defend himself, but he doesn't want to destroy the alliance with Nagi in the process.
The answer to Schuldig's question automatically surfaces in his mind-- Helping him-- but he does not say it aloud.]
[He won't fault Omi if he needs to attack, but he'd rather it not come to that. Their arrangement was meant to stay private after Schuldig's arrival and now it looks like it might not stay that way for long. This could get very awkward very fast.]
[That? Was a low blow, Schuldig. His hand closes tightly around the shaft of the dart, if only for stress relief. He knows better than to throw it before more than a verbal attack comes his way.]
[Complaining about it being called a date will just make Schuldig remark about it even more, so Nagi grumbles and deals with that part. For now.]
Like I said, it's just for information.
I missed something I was interested in and he has notes on it. That's it.
[Nagi tries to control his thoughts, but he can't completely silence the mention of this being an arrangement they made months ago, well before Schuldig's arrival.]
Prepared for the worst, he knocks.]
It's me.

Nice to see you again.

You too. Although, given the circumstances...
[He opens his bag and removes a manila envelope and a small box of OTC cold medicine.]
This is the most effective one I've found.

How much trouble did you have with the training?

Everything he told me... is in that book.

Because I didn't expect you home this early.

As you are here, it is my concern. Does you're mother know you're out?
[As for Nagi...]
Sorry if I ruined your little date.
Want to tell me what this is about or should I get what I need from him?

Whatever. Still surprised Fujimiya lets you out of his sight.
[Actively sharing information between enemies?
It doesn't matter when the agreement might have happened, it's the principle of the thing. Especially when anything Schwarz could be compromised.]
And just what's your part in this arrangement?
