Atoli just happened to notice Haseo sitting on the bench, and she couldn't help but smile. She had been out for one of her usual walks herself and just happened to overhear his conversation with the bird. Though she didn't really care for him talking harshly to a poor little bird, she still waved as she made her way over to him.

"Someone isn't in the best mood, is he?" She asked, settling herself down on the bench next to him. She didn't say anything more for a moment, placing her hands on her lap.

"Everything alright?" She gives him a slightly concerned look now. Not that it was uncommon for Haseo to be in a bad mood or anything.

It's always good to talk bad to a bird when your birdloving friend is around. Haseo makes a face at that thought as he looks up, shrugging some. "Been better, I guess. " He stares out at the fountain with a scowl.

"Doesn't this place ever piss you off?"

Atoli paused, frowning slightly for a moment. "Well, I guess sometimes, yes. It's hard, being away from home and our friends." She trailed off, turning her gaze to Haseo now.

"But in many ways, I like it here. I like the friends I've made. Yes, bad things do happen here, but bad things happen back home too, you know?"

Haseo probably wouldn't understand why she loved it here like she did. But it had been that way for The World, too.

"..That sounds like you. But when I see how it hurts the same friends I've met, you think differently, sometimes. " He admitted honestly, looking away.

"..But I guess I'd miss them around, even if they are kind of out there.."

[Thankfully the rim is wide enough to sit on, since Kallen has, too, perched herself just off to the side of it, a little distance away from the bird that's just been spooked away.

Her cheek rests on her hand, elbow rested on a crossed leg. She's not all the amused with this place either, sure it's peaceful, but it's still a lot to deal with at times. Various problems, the ever present one of the dead rising still being the top on her list, keeps her from truly adapting.

She huffs into her hand, rolls her blue eyes a little, and responds offhandedly:]

..Nothing. [he muttered a response, looking at her with a slightly raised eyebrow. he wasn't in the mood to discuss the morals of talking to birds]

[She turns her head ever so slightly in his direction and eyes him through careful, blue hues.]

I'm seriously not in the mood for this. It's a bird. I wasn't going to eat it. [he gives her a flat look. geez kallen you crazy birdlover]

[ Haseo wasn't the only one who was out walking that day. For once Sasuke was taking a break from his training, and his mind already felt as if it was going to burst. He hadn't thought twice about getting involved in the dreamwalker training, and now the young ninja was taking a break by getting in some much needed relaxation. For Sasuke that meant walking.

[ A very faint smile tugged on his lips when he saw Haseo sitting at the fountain, and his conversation with the bird. ]

I don't think that bird meant any harm.

[ OOC: I'm not sure if Haseo would have seen Sasuke right after he got his eye back, but I imagine Sasuke would have called and told him his brother got it back and replaced it etc. >_>...or we can pretend Sasuke hadn't told him yet and this is his first time seeing Sasuke after that incident idc either is fine |D;;; ]

I didn't know you actually walked Sasuke, you're always out in those woods training. [a small smirk]

[Silabus had been stretching his legs after waking up from another sleep coma, and was just generally enjoying his walk when he heard some familiar grumbling.

Immediately, he started to smile and walks over to Haseo.]

Hey, Haseo! Thought I heard you here.

Silabus? You're up? [ he straightens some, his expression still mildly grumpy, but he looks relieved]

Yeah. I was just walking around to get rid of some of the stiffness from sleeping so long. Guess it was lucky though, since I ran into you!

..So you literally just woke up huh? [he shakes his head, managing a small smile]

Oh. It was that boy.

That was the feeling Itachi got when he spotted Haseo over by the fountain of Espoir. He would come into the small village in efforts to get a glimpse at his brother and keep an eye on things... sometimes the village was just nice to wander around in. There were churches as well, and sometimes, Itachi found himself gazing at them in thought before continuing on his way. Faith was a strange thing.

However, when he spotted the silver-haired boy by the fountain, Itachi carrying a small paper bag under his arm filled with a few treats (tarts, if one took a glimpse inside), he paused.

He was going to have to pass Haseo. Itachi wasn't looking for a fight. He never did. He wasn't too sure how much that Sasuke told Haseo, and due to that, the Uchiha felt he had every reason to be wary of the youth.

After a moment of contemplation, the dark-haired man continued on, starting to pass by the other.

"Good afternoon."

Haseo blinked, looked up, and immediately tensed. He could already feel his eyes narrow as he looked at him. "..So you're still around, huh? " He said bitterly, shaking his head.

"..--I just want to know one thing. "

Itachi paused. His other hand went up, touching the paper bag to keep it in place tucked in his elbow and side and he turned, glancing over to the other. He didn't say anything as his long, raven ponytail slid off of his shoulder and down his back with the movement, waiting for Haseo's question.

"..Sasuke's eye. Were..were you the one that did it?" His voice is borderline threatening now, as he lifts his eyes. No use hiding it, he wants to protect the kid. At least, so he doesn't have to face what he had to. At least.
