Note: Just a heads up that this is forward dated to Sunday, August 28. Going ahead and putting it up now so that everyone has enough time before the mod event grand finale that will chronologically happen at the end of the floating lanterns and fireworks. Technically this is running all day Sunday and into the early evening. More directions will be made at the end of the post.

It was a wonderful Sunday morning as the tables and booths for everyone to pick up and help create their floating lanterns were put up. They could be found all over the village as well as around the lake, the two main "launching" points for the floating lanterns later that evening.
Both the locals and volunteers bustled about to try and bring in as many participants as possible. Even the local population were getting involved and making lanterns, some making smaller ones as keepsakes.
But the real magic would only happen once the sun set and the lanterns would be released into the night sky, their flickering lights carrying their hopes and dreams along with them.
Better still, there's a bit of a surprise at the end that not even Tamaki knew the details about. Courtesy of James Potter and Sirius Black, fireworks will go off as soon as most of the lanterns of the released. A grand spectacle to be sure, but even grander when music played upon exploding and small presents gently fall from the sky almost right into the hands of onlookers. Inside they would find wrapped candies, spinning tops, and flowers. Small but wonderful gifts all the same.
Still, there was time before that happened.
So why not come and make a lantern? Who knows. Maybe that wish, hope, or dream will come true. This was a dream world after all.

- Lantern Building. This is basically the catch all mingling and building lanterns thread. Everyone can meet people, help each other out, and just have fun! Don't forget characters get to write out their wishes on slips of paper that will be attached to the bottom of the lantern. All activities here should be set for the early part of the day, prior to the release of the lanterns.
- Lantern Release + Fireworks. This will be set right as evening hits. There will be an announcement for everyone to just raise their lanterns into the air, and they will automatically float up into the night sky. Not too long after (probably within five or six minutes), the fireworks will also go off and the small presents will gently fall from the sky. Players are more than welcome to go ahead and start threading here if they'd like. Just remember that something else happens later that evening, but that will be in its own separate post. So it's best to keep the content centered a little before and after the lanterns are released.
