The Doctor straightened his bow tie again, clearing his throat and frowning slightly as he looked around. New place. Very unfamiliar. Very different. Very, definitely new. He liked new. He even liked different. What he didn't like was that he had absolutely no idea where this new, different place was or what had happened. Normally not knowing was exciting, but it felt like there was something important he was forgetting, just on the edge of his mind. What was it?
"Right. Yes. This is bad. Or is it good? Not really sure yet. Still working that bit out. No Tardis, definitely bad. Still alive. Possibly good? This is new. This is very new. I don't even know where I am." He laughed at that like an excited school boy, spinning on his heels to look around.
"I always know where I am. And there's something else. What was it. Think. Remember. Missing something else. But what? Screwdriver, check, jammie dodger, when did I get more of those? check. Arms, legs, ears, shoes, Fez! No Fez. That's right, River shot it when- Ah!" He hit his forehead with the heels of both palms, sudden realization sinking in.
"Ponds. I'm missing Ponds! Where did they get off to?"
