The wolf pushes up to her feet and pads over to him, sitting down with a peer up and whine. Hey bro, have you seen her bff?]

[yeah he can't speak dog.]

What? Somethin' wrong?

[Ammy will settle to nuzzling against him, wagging her tail as she whines a bit dejectedly. She'll get to telling him, but for now she would like some pettings.]

[blinks a little surprised because he's kind of not used to that sort of thing.

but after a moment, he slowly reaches down and...pets her. a little awkwardly, but still gently.

well, as gently as he can, anyway.]

[That's a firm pet, but still gentle in a way!

She emits an appreciating whine, wagging her tail happily. This helps deal with loss of her friends.]

[now squats down so he's more her level while still giving her pets.]

So what's wrong?

[Her tail lifts to trace the inked tip to write her message to him.]

My best buddy from home has gone back. I can't find him anywhere.

....Ah. Sorry. [and another pet on the head.] Always sucks, I know.

[There's a hint of a nod, before her head stills at the pet and she nudges against it. It does suck, but she has friends like him still here and.. that always helps.]

[he kind of rests his hand there, thinking for a bit before speaking again.]

[She immediately perks up, really? Could they do something? *A* All the excitement here.]

[aw. that's actually kind of cute. but now here's the problem...]

[he is not sure if "fetch" is her idea of fun. though the image of Amaterasu running and chasing after a flying sign post and bringing it back is quite amazing.]

[Her head tilts, obviously just as puzzled as him but..

She takes a moment to think, looking around for a moment. Well she loves playing the digging game but last time she dug she got lectured by you. :( obviously that's what should happen though, giant fetch toy.]
