The air was still, peaceful and serene. It was such a beautiful night as the stars in the sky twinkled and glittered, calm after such chaos and heat, and wild weather. The moon was shining softly and offering light to those who traveled in the evening. Perhaps it was the calm before the storm? But it didn't really matter to the woman sitting alone in a field of flowers.
To those who knew her, they would recognize Serenity. Her endless blue eyes were red-rimmed and slightly puffy from crying. Every now and then tears would fall and she couldn't find the energy to wipe them away. That gentle smile she always wore was completely gone from her lips. She was holding onto something against her chest. It was hard to see or even tell what it was, but if you got close, you would see the ginzuishou. The crystal glows softly, warm, pure and soothing light. The crystal is connected to Serenity's heart and soul, her will, but sometimes it had its own will and at the moment, it wanted to offer Serenity comfort. Around her, under the power of the ginzuishou, flowers bloomed and more grew around her.
She wasn't focusing on any of that though. She had needed to get out of the manor after having spoken to her daughter. She didn't want to be anywhere except under the moon. She couldn't go to it anymore, so she could only be near it. A sob escaped her lips as she was bent over, her frame shaking. It took everything in her not to lose herself, it was too dangerous. The crystal could destroy everything and anything if she allowed herself to fall to her sorrow.
