For some reason Haseo could have sworn he heard Atoli's voice. And with the way things were at night, he really didn't want to risk 'just hearing things' and act like he hadn't. So this in mind he opened the door to his apartment and began going down the stairs, pausing halfway as he stared mutely at shadows in the darkness.
He could hear voices. Atoli's voice too, and some strangers, eerie creepy voices. Halfway down the stairs he catapaulted over the edge without much thought, skidding on his feet with a grunt as he felt his weapon materialize in his hand, his scythe.
It was Atoli. And that woman did she have--? Cursing aloud, he quickly called out Atoli's name.]
Atoli! Stay away from them! [with a threatening look already on his face, he stood in front of her protectively, his scythe cutting a circular crescent moon that should have both knocked the weapons out of their hands and hopefully created some distance.]
[Silabus had been on his way to Haseo's house as well, for almost the same reasons. He had wanted to make sure everything was alright with him, after all.
But as he came closer, he heard the commotion.
He ran closer, his own weapon drawn as he came to the group.]
[Relief flooded Atoli's face when Haseo appeared, and then Silabus moments later. Her friends! Oh, her friends! As happy as she always was to see this, she was especially glad in this moment. But she nodded, doing as Haseo said. She took a few steps back, glad he was here to take control of this situation. Not that she didn't wish she could. There just wasn't much for a Harvest Cleric to do in a situation like this.
And the zombie-like people? No, they weren't happy. The ones closest, including the woman, were knocked back, dropping their weapons in the process.
Thinking fast, she raised her staff.] Rue Kruz! [Seconds after she cast the spell, a burst of water appeared, washing the weapons away and far from the reach of the monster people.]
[ooc: guys, feel free to control the zombie peeps. |D]
