LLOYD'S CAMPSITE (Tales of Symphonia)

[This isn't all that much different from the camping he's done so many times before. With a good tent, cans of salvaged food, and a fire blazing away, it's really not that bad.

Not that that's kept Zelos from complaining.

Once the fire burns down and he puts the last of it out, he crawls into his sleeping back, preparing to sleep.

[They haven't seen each other in a while, but Lloyd remembers Kurogane pretty well. Hearing the other, he looks up and waves back. He's nowhere near as stressed as the last time they met.]

Kurogane!

[He gestures the other over.]

I'm doing pretty good. What about you? You found enough food to eat?

[redcladidealist]

Bucking Horse? [Lloyd echoes that name with a questioning tone. He can't remember anyone called by that name.] Is that one of the talking ponies?

Yeah, I think we're okay, at least for tonight, and maybe tomorrow, too. I'm going to see if I can hunt something tomorrow. Canned food's okay, but it's starting to get boring.

Oh! [Lloyd's face lights up with understanding.] You mean Dino! [Wait.] Why do you call him Bucking Horse and not by his name?

[He lets his hand rest confidently on the hilt of one of his two swords, strapped to the belt at his waist.] Don't worry about me. I can take care of myself. [Still, he tilts his head.] Is there something wrong with hunting at night?

[Lloyd may or may not object to that someday. For now, he's got other things to think about.]

I've fought monsters before, so that shouldn't be a problem. I'll be careful, though. [Or as careful as he ever is.]

What about you? You gonna be all right?

[The brief mention is enough to pique Lloyd's curiosity.]

What was it you ran into?

[Lloyd frowns, storing that bit of information away.]

[As if the flood wasn't bad enough, now he was without a home for at least a week until repairs are done. He didn't really want to camp out alone either. Somehow, that ended in him camping with Lloyd and the others... Very awkward but still better than being by himself.
