[ Denmark was just getting a hang of this place, exploring bits and pieces of the city and fighting the flood with exuberant curiosity and enthusiasm. To Denmark-- if life was a dream it didn't matter so long as he enjoyed it!

While wandering around, he noted how much he liked the little cottages in Espoir. It was where he started, and quite frankly it didn't look too far off from his own home that he didn't notice the difference at first. He planned to make a home there. To crash with Sealand and take care of the kid and live a peaceful life.

But now it was gone. All Denmark could express was disappointment. Whether in the form of scoffing at the rubble or looking regretfully at where his home would have been. Where it would have been. He took slow steps on the streets, seemingly abandoned for the most part.

He spotted Ray from afar and kept a watch from a distance as he walked. Something about the way she looked at the house-- at the things from her bag, something about the way she stood there hit him hard. He didn't have much ( ... )

I haven't a clue on how to build a house, though. An airship, maybe...
