[As this man with a cane and top hat of his own approaches him, Blood looks up, a hint of curiosity in his expression. He had never encountered this particular man, of that he could be entirely certain.
Even so, he's undoubtedly intrigued by the man.
When he's addressed as if they had met before, the Hatter merely quirks a brow before letting a smirk overtake his face.
What an interesting situation he's landed himself in, indeed. Certainly not at all boring.]
Is it truly? I can't say as though it's one familiar to myself. Would you care to share it with me?
[Blood takes the time to study this man quite intently indeed. He certainly was very knowledgeable concerning the workings of this world, by the sounds of it. And he even saw a bit of himself in the strange man. Such a person could be a wonderful asset to the Hatter -- or potentially a terrible enemy, if things didn't go as desired.
He was quite determined to ensure that such wouldn't be the case.]
I can assure you, the pleasure is certainly all mine, Mr. Break. You may call me Blood Dupre. [He gives a slight bow of his own, charming smile present as always on his face.] Dream world you say? Please, do enlighten me.
Oh, information itself is rarely dangerous, Mister Dupre. I have yet to have information threaten--people being, of course, an entirely different story.
I must wonder, Mr. Break, if everyone in this world is as clever as you do appear to be. It certainly is a refreshing change from a majority of the citizens of Heartland.
I am afraid you shall find it is few and far between that you shall find a refreshing sort of cleverness--though there are a number of freshly clever here!
Because it has, of course.
For this particular hatter, wandering Somarium with a coat and top hat of his own is not unusual--he has to occupy himself somehow.
He steps closer, leans on his cane, smiles.
He can't be sure, of course, but he can make assumptions, guesses off of mannerisms and sounds, and try--]
Now isn't this a familiar tale?

I would so hate to do so.
[And he bows, sweeping the hat from the top of his head and bringing it with him, the entire movement rather over the top and elegant.]
A pleasure; I am known as Xerxes Break. Shall I welcome you to our fair dream world?

And a smile in response to the question; his response comes promptly.]
But of course. When one goes down the rabbit hole trailing a prompt white rabbit, what else is one to expect?

The Hatter offers a small chuckle before giving his own response.]
You certainly are well informed on both this world and my own, Mr. Break. Such information could prove to be quite dangerous, could it not?
