"Oh, but your reputation precedes you, Tony" she laughed softly. While she would always half follow Bryce's rambling about his favorite comic books heroes, she had listened enough to know that this 'Tony Stark' was a playboy. Not that she minded, she did handle some of this type in her past after all.
"That is if you can get a hold of her long enough for that. She's only been seen in glimpse here and there as far as I know."
Lara gave the suit another good look. Granted, it did look sturdy and powerful and while she hoped he would never have to use it here, she still had to admit that she was curious to see it in full action. "Well, I did meant sneaking around while being outside of the suit. You do can get out, right?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, her tone slightly teasing. If not, that would certainly be a waste of an handsome face to be put on a mechanical type of body.
Looking up at his face again, she gave him a knowing look before chuckling: "Oh, being on the good side or not is not what I meant when I mentioned you being a bad boy..." Really, Tony, how bad can you get?
"Really?" The raise of his eyebrows, the shift of his hips and the raising of one side of his mouth meant: please, do tell me. It'd be nice to hear exactly what she'd heard whether it be through a magazine or something the way he assumed it would be. He couldn't keep track of all his spreads now could he? That wasn't his job. Unless they were memorable and some were, very much so.
"Anyone know why she feels the need to be all coy and mysterious?" More questions, not enough answers so clearly, he'd need to do some digging around for real info here, as much as he could get a hold of. He wanted to talk to this person and maybe he could convince Lara to give him a hand on that front. Her words made him look down at himself and he nodded. "Once I grab a toolkit I can get out of it manually, might take a while though but hey, I know what I'm doing."
It'd be a question of resources after that because even if he was only here for a short visit, he'd need something to help him get in and out of it quickly, a place for him to do work that wasn't the same as the place he slept. Yeah, he could do that no problem.
"And again, I feel like you need to reveal something because you're being very enigmatic and I'm just dying to know what you mean."
His tone and demeanor made her smile and she nodded once: "Really. Although, I am sure it's nothing new to you." Lara wasn't sure it was safe to let the man know he simply was a character from a comic book in her world and so she chose to keep to herself for now. No doubt she wasn't the only one that knew him that way, but she didn't want to be the one telling. If there was a soul cruel enough to do such, then so be it, but she wouldn't be that person.
"I doubt there is someone knowing that reason. Although, I have heard that some people have been here for a very long time: they may have more information than I on the Overlord." It was going without saying that Lara would gladly assist Tony in his search for more answer about this world. If only to learn more about it and find a way home, the company of the handsome man a definite plus to the equation.
"Well, let me know if you need some help with that..." she added with a smirk as she motionned to the suit. She wasn't that bad with a toolkit, but it might have been she meant entirely, though it was up to Tony to guess.
She laughed at his flirting: "Oh, I'm sure you can easily figure out what I mean, Tony."
"Well, I lose track of the magazine articles, whatever's on the news - television and print media - and you know, there's the internet." Pepper handled all that crap and Happy sort of helped steer him through it but there was rarely a day that went by without him being harangued into doing something he didn't want to do.
"If I have any plans for that," which he would, "You'll be the first woman I'll call."
Not that he really knew many women here. Yet.
"You're just going to have to find out for yourself then." And she was certainly welcome to try which was why he'd waited until he'd said that before he addressed the toolkit situation. "That eager to undress me already? And I thought you British ladies were all demure and mannerly."
He knew better. Models came from all over the globe, just like feisty journalists.
"Yes, I can't imagine how much press someone of your caliber would generate." She actually didn't know at all, but it was easy to guess that with the size of the man's ego, he would do everything he could to be in the news, consciously or not.
She chuckled lightly at his words, giving the man somewhat of a mocking curtsy. "Oh, I am sure you will quickly learn that I am not like most English ladies." After all, who within London's high society could shoot a gun like her, fight her way into Temples and drive a dirt bike too?
But in truth, it was the suit that fascinated her. She wasn't a robotic geek like Hillary, but she hoped to learn enough to be able to bring some ideas to her tech should she ever go back home. 'Simon' could use upgrades after all.
