[it had been rather sunny-even the forecast had said it would be-and now it was storming. at first he wondered if perhaps this was just one of Somarium's "quirks", but upon seeing the creature atop the building, and the presence of a powerful soul, it wasn't to difficult to see one person standing out from the rest of the panicked locals. so here, have a rather annoyed Kid making his way toward Eas. it was rather clear that she had something to do with it.]

Is this your doing?

Indeed. That experience was quite beneficial to me.

[Her soul burns with a powerful will, but is enveloped in a dark and evil aura. It also appears to have been branded with a diamond mark and an accompanying serial number.

The Nakewameke monster has no soul, but the aura radiating from it matches the darkness surrounding Eas.]

[ For the short time that Yuri had been here in this dream world, things had been relatively peaceful. Nothing really out of the already ordinary stood out to her and had it not been for her being taken here against her will, she would have loved to come here on say a vacation.

The city was calm in the sense that there were people and it was bustling with normal city life.. but Yuri's eyes immediately catch the out of place darkness hovering over those few buildings. When she walks over to where the storm starts and the sun is shining brightly, she inspects the area of what she can see.

It feels wrong. So very wrong. It's almost a nostalgic feeling that the Desertians from her world like to give off but at the same time.. ]

Hm.

[ Better safe than sorry, she rushes to somewhere secluded and abandoned to transform. But, when she's done preparing for the worst, she finally breaks through the barrier and uncaring that she's being pelted with cold rain, starts searching for the center of the storm -- the reason why this anomaly is ( ... )

Eas approves of your new "late response" approach to crimefighting. 1/2 fromlabyrinth June 7 2011, 17:48:50 UTC
[It has been five minutes since the Nakewameke began its attack. Eas looks around at the empty plaza and the cowering NPCs in the shadows, her foot tapping out an impatient beat on the ground.]

... enough of this.

[She turns to her creation.] Nakewameke! Unleash your full power and destroy this city!

NAKEWAMEKE!

[The rods on the Nakewameke's arms power up, and a horrific bolt of lightning streaks down from the sky and carves a jagged line into one of the skyscrapers, shattering the windows and sending debris hurtling down to the ground.

There's a scream of terror nearby. Wouldn't you know it, an NPC child that was taking cover from the rain in the shadow of the skyscraper has fallen over and is seconds away from being crushed by the falling debris.]

Better late than never! Moonlight'll get this taken care of in no time *looks at ep 34* curemoonlight June 7 2011, 19:05:01 UTC
[ Blasted rain. It was making it a lot harder to find anything. Moonlight still treks forward though, rushing through the unnatural rain at an incredible speed. She's almost sure she's reached the cause of this but sure enough, her ears perk up at the sure signs of destruction a ways away.

Quickly, she changes her course, coming across not only rain but debris and glass falling from the sky.

But, oh wait. A child you say? Oh, we can't be havin' any of that now can we? At the very last moment before the pieces of broken buildings manage to squish the child, Moonlight races forward, scoops the child in her arms and takes her out of harms way, shielding her from both the rain and hazardous materials. When she's a good enough distance away, she places the kid down and gives them a comforting smile. ]

Go find somewhere safe to hide, alright?

[ She waits only a moment for the child to run before she turns her head skyward and jumps upwards, using the sides of the buildings to help her, to finally land on one of the roof tops to survey ( ... )
