[Perhaps the Goddess had been pushing herself too much, first with the battling a couple of weeks back that left her with some very bad injuries-- Fortunately they've more or less healed, though she's still a tad

[Jin had made his way to the lake to wash the blood from his jacket after a particularly violent incident, but his attention turns to the injured wolf. It looked like he wasn't the only one having a bad day. He doesn't seem too concerned for the dog's well being, though.]

Odd. Got in a scuffle, did you?

[soloriens]

[The smell of blood come to her senses, and it's not the blood on her pelt. Black eyes flicker over, watching the man with a puzzled look and whine before coming over. Her head tilts as she looks to him.

What happened to him? Why was his clothes bloody?]

[iceblades]

Hm?

[Was the animal walking towards him? Perhaps it smelled the blood on his body. Something about this wolf was strange... Jin sensed that there was something different about the animal, but he quickly disregarded the thought.]

You better not think about trying to bite me.

[He sighs quietly, holding his bloodied hand out to the wolf.]

[soloriens]

[Bite him? Course not, not unless he was an enemy or threatened her. At this moment that wasn't the case. She extends her neck, sniffing at the bloodied hand as if to distinguish whether it was his blood or someone else's.]

[iceblades]

[Jin stood quietly as she sniffed his hand; the wolf didn't seem to pose a threat to him. He could let his guard down for the time being.]

...

[The blood on Jin's body was indeed his own; he'd gotten in a fight which resulted in a few injuries. They weren't too severe, but he couldn't afford to get in another fight for a while.]

[When she connects the blood to being his own, she raises her head curiously, blinking up at him. It shouldn't be that bad if he was able to still move around, but nonetheless it was still a bit worrying. So, with her ink-tipped brush like tail, she writes a message in the air before him in neat readable writing.]

Does it hurt? Your injuries.

[iceblades]

[Jin was surprised to say the least, but his expression quickly calmed. This wasn't the strangest thing he'd seen, and he should've been expecting such things from an odd world like this.]

It's nothing.

[He grabbed his upper right arm reflexively and looked at the wolf. Why was she showing concern like this? Of all creatures, a wolf was showing him compassion?]

...I'm fine.

[soloriens]

[The inked words vanish once the message is read and the wolf starts to wag her tail at his words. It's visible relief on her features, the wolf giving a shake of her fur afterwards.

Of course it was still a tad troubling, had someone attacked him then? The ends of her nose wrinkles, passing her glance to the side as if to expect some other to approach them. Before she soon flops to lay down.]

Hm. You sure are calm, considering the state you're in.

[Jin lowers himself to his knees, taking a closer look at the wolf's bloody fur. He wasn't sure whether or not it'd be a good idea to get too close to the animal, so he refrains.]

You're absolutely filthy.

[soloriens]

[Well she's happy to scoot closer, though at 'filthy' she tilts her head and whines.

It isn't that bad..]

[iceblades]

Perhaps you need a bath. [That much was clear, but honestly, he didn't have any experience washing animals. He wasn't about to try.] Surely you don't enjoy being so dirty.

[soloriens]

[She sorta cringes at 'bath', ears pressing back and shaking her head. No baths. :|; ]

[iceblades]

[Jin notices the change in expression at the mere mention of that word. This was a very... expressive dog. Interesting.]

You don't want to be clean?

[soloriens]

[Quick shake of the head!!!]

[iceblades]

How very strange. I thought animals liked to keep themselves clean.

[He shakes his head; something about this was just odd.]

It'd be for your own good anyway. It's only water.

[soloriens]

[She huffs through her nose, looking disdained.

She isn't like most animals, she's a bit of an oddball.]
