The hell...did you get in a fight? [looking at her leg because that was a limp.]

Her tail still wags, raising that front leg to show that there was a healing cut along her shoulder, which had been a gash before so it looked a lot better than it did. She peers up at him happily, tilting her head. Well technically she did get in a fight, but it was good reason so.]

[But for Korea, the lake will have to suffice. He jumps in cannonball style, making a huge splash. He's swimming in fashionable swim trunks, oh yes.]

She's safe. But yes, hello Korea, you are a very familiar face and oh man she couldn't be happier right now! She barks excitedly, but keeps on land, yes.]

What are you doing out there? It's nicer in the water!

She inches further away and plops down, she will not move any closer!]

w e l l. he'll (unsure) approach, all concerned wariness. ] H-hey. [ ... way to go, self. points for eloquence. ] Are you alright?

She's had practice though, and she wags her tail the moment she spots him, appearing friendly rather than growling or looking defensive. She tilts her head. Alright? Yes, she's fine! She barks lightly, still wagging away.]

Suzaku won't bother pointing out the red markings; this place is weird, so it doesn't surprise him that the animals (normal or not-so-normal-from-another-world) would be a little strange, too. there isn't much that can catch him off guard anymore, ugh. even so, he gets closer, eyes narrowing and trying to find where the correlation of blood is from where he's standing. steadily. getting. closer.
while taking her barking as an affirmative, he still worries -- where is she bleeding does it need to be treated she needs to be cleaned -- and eventually kneels in front of her. (watching, always watching, waiting for her to take a snap at him should she choose to do so.)
and, slowly: ] Were you hurt recently--? [ tempted to run a hand ( ... )

As he kneels, her friendly front is still there, tail swaying side to side happily with a curious stare back. If you were expecting a lash out or a snap of her jaws, you will be disappointed because instead she inches closer and sneaks a lick at his face! She's very friendly so no need to be scared!]

Immediately she barks to him, wagging her tail and showing signs of her normal behavior, as if to say she's perfectly fine. She hopes he can get this message, but nonetheless she approaches him when he comes over.

“…Are you hurt?” The samurai asked - frowning thoughtfully all the while - without lifting his gaze to meet her own, relying on her to confirm whether she were in any pain or simply a scruffy, unwashed mess from older encounters. While the latter didn't seem to be an appropriate state for a graceful deity to be in, it was of course the more favourable of the two.
