Such small matters turn to huge ones as he follows the line with Estelle, Karol, Rita, Raven, Judith and Repede by his side. Blastia, the imperial knights, the council, guilds, and things never known, such as Entelexeia and the disruption of aer krene; get thrown in causing more of a mess than Yuri or anyone thought they'd ever get into. Throughout it all Yuri holds to his own form of justice, taking down those who are before his eyes and protecting anyone who's 'one of us' regardless of the consequences and as long as it doesn't go against the Guild both Karol and him created; Brave Vesperia.

Wars are trying to be ignited between Guilds and Imperial knights, Entelexia are hunted for their Apatheia (concentrated Aer that forms within an Entelexia and shows only when one dies) and it all seems to lead back to the Imperial Kingdom. Where Yuri was merely hacking off the rotten parts he never finds the head of the problem until Estelle learns about her role as the Child of the Full Moon and what Phaeroh meant when he called her an 'insipid poison.' Not only can her natural healing abilities consume mass amounts of aer, they can also kill the Entelexia and they're also capable of awakening the Adephagos, a being of ancient time that first appeared long ago in 240th year of Asule. This being is capable of converting anything back into Aer and was only subdued when the Children of the Full Moon's lives were given. The group all learn this in Myorzo, the city of Kritya.

Estelle obviously upset about what this entails leaves the group and in that moment, Raven also leaves the group, and thus kidnapped by him and brought to the one who'd been pulling the strings of the blastia thefts, the letters causing the rift between the Guilds and Imperial Knights, the man behind Ragou's, Barbos', and Cumore's acts, the reason for the creation of Heracles (used to take down Entelexia amongst being used as a strong weapon), why Apatheia was being hunted by the Knights; everything led back to the Commandant, Alexei. Once hailed to be a beacon to all knights and now the enemy. There the group learn how Raven betrayed them and Yuri sees that the chance encounter with the old man back in jail had not been a chance encounter in the least.

With Estelle in Alexei's hand it's a fight to get her back and a fight against a man they thought was one of their own, with a little help in the form of Duke, who hands Yuri the imperial symbol of succession, Dein Nomos. Raven reveals himself as Schwann Oltorain, captain of the Imperial Knights. A dead man come back to life from the Great War thanks to Alexei's doing.  Raven had been working both sides, as Raven for the Altosk Guild and Schwann.

Throughout the group's fight against him they learn Raven is planning to die in the fight, but no one cares for this decision. Everything is collapsing around them and in the end Raven saves everyone (there's still things to fight for and he prefers Brave Vesperia). Thought dead, the group feels the loss of Raven in their own way, in anger, in sadness, and in resolved acceptance. Their goal is clear; to get Estelle back so they venture towards Heracles to find Alexei.

Tired and aching and sore, Yuri finally finds sleep and wakes to find himself in Somarium.
