Act Two.

(PERRY is sitting in his and Arthur's room, watching TV. His feet are propped up on a stool, and he's leaning too far back in the chair. You can't see the television, but the lights are on the entire room.)

We've been here for a while now. It's weird, but we're getting used to it, I guess. Still no sign of John or Ramon, so I'm happy. Oh, and last week James showed up. He seems all right. Always sick--I'm so tired of being attuned to it--but all right. Now Buzz will be happy, too.

Me, I found an old television--it's tiny, but it's got cable. I'm watching Law and Order. I don't know where Arthur is. He's probably off being friendly again, the suck-up.

I hope he's okay. I want him to be happy, too. I'm an asshole, but I want him to be happy, and if he's not-- Commercial break's over. It's Jerry Orbach onscreen. Buzz would be thrilled. He knows every show the man's ever been in. I know a lot too, but don't tell anyone.

Anyway.

(He settles back in the chair and turns his attention back to the TV.)
