pondering beauty

the comments here got me thinking, who else on the Tech campus is pretty? And why are you so interested in knowing who I think is pretty? Do you just want some pretty new thing to look at or are you just dieing to see how high or low my standards are?

Hmmm....

Well... anyhow... there's Kendra. I've known her since high school and by coincidence we both ended up going to Tech. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw her wandering around campus.

Heh, she was always the shy, quite type around me. Pfft... Apparently around others she was a bit more loose than I thought. I still vividly remember one of my roommates telling me about her perfect breasts and her perfectly centered nipples and peeking at her under the table during a game of strip poker.

Arrrrg! Guess it didn't help that I never showed interest in her besides giving her "OOO, you're pretty and well dressed" looks. Bah! And I never got invited to any of those parties. :'( HAHAHAHA

Actually, I never went to "those" parties. No time for them, besides, I didn't want to get to comfy with hanging around "them" oh noes them oh noes them oh noes them oh noes them oh noes them Haha, I was stuck up.

Aahhhhmmmmm... the reason for the suck ass picture is because it was the only one where her nose wasn't the dominant feature of her face. Oh how the mind plays tricks on us. A week ago I was talking to schlake about how I wish I had digital cameras for eyes. Then I would be able to take pictures of myself that look good, and I could show everyone every beautiful thing I see. (yah, I embellish on the actual conversation, but who cares) But then, I remember how much our brain fixes (or fucks) what we see; heck, if there is something in our field of vision that doesn't make sense, we may not even see it. Pictures taken via camera always have something wrong with them; some perceived distortion of reality is always present. It isn't the camera's fault, cameras are mere machines, and can only do what they were built to do and instructed to do. It isn't the camera lying to us, it's our brains.

I don't want digital cameras for eyes anymore; I want something hooked directly into my brain, so I could show the world how distorted, how beautiful it looks filtered through my "twisted" mind.

Whoa, tangent.
