Rowhouse 'Hood

You scored 21 out of 40 on urban-rural and 30 out of 40 land intensity.

People know you as: The Bohemian Gentrifier

Quote: "That crack house just needed a little paint."

Your score indicates that you are a city-dweller of the old-school. You like a dense, finely grained neighborhood with restaurants, churches and brothels all on the same block. Although you've never spoken to him personally, you know that guy Eddie down the street is a pimp and you're sure to tell your lame suburban friends about him at every opportunity, just to freak them out.

The bad news is that as more and more people like you move into your neighborhood it gradually becomes less cool and more expensive. Enjoy things while you can, because in 5 years you're going to have to move to the next 'hood uptown.

Examples of places you should live: Baltimore, Philadelphia

Pretty much what I thought. I am really getting annoyed by driving to Albuquerque everyday from Los Lunas and back everyday. It's just such a damn irresponsible use of gasoline. Plus, I am pretty much left out of any study groups... poo. I really like the ideas behind new urbanism, and love Olmstead-like parks. Plus, backyards are an irresponsible use of land. Ugh.

Thank goodness I live on the outskirts of Los Lunas. Traffic here is getting horrible. We have only one east-west corridor and from 2pm to 6pm it gets pretty heinous.

Ah well, at least I'm not driving between Socorro and Albuquerque every day. That would really piss me off. My sister goes to school with this girl who commutes from Socorro. Her parents left her their house when they moved to Albuquerque (or died, same difference >:-P). She refuses to rent it out to Techies or just sell it outright and get her own place in Albuquerque. Argggg... I don't know how she can afford living like that and go to that school. Tuition there is scary, plus its an art school so hidden expenses... yikes.

I would have rented or leased that house out. Having an income from real estate at my age would be sweet.
