So, my family's crap computer keeps crashing. Since I just put a new operating system on it, I assume its not fuxware doing it. I thought it might be a memory problem (128 sdram), but I messed around with it a bit this morning and found out that it was crashing because the cpu can't handle the load.
Its a bit difficult to tell what this crappy Compaq Presario has inside it without opening it up (which I haven't done yet) but I think the CPU is either a Intel(r) Celeron (tm) Processor - 800 MHz or 850 MHz.
Adding more memory won't fix the problem, will it?
