[The comm clicks on and immediately the sound of sobs can be heard in the background. Someone is crying quite loudly but no words can be made out. There is an audible sigh before the digimon starts talking.]

My Tamer's been attacked. I need someone, preferably someone living in the Hyperion, to help me move him. He's injured and...well I'm sure

[Sound of the Material Guard forming, followed by the sound of a window opening and wind rushing past in the background as Sadamitsu flies out the window.]

On my way.

How bad's he hurt? We gonna need to take him to the hospital?

He's bleeding but he won't let me look. He's huddled in a ball. I think we should just take him back to the Hyperion. Some rest will do him good.]

Okay. Be there in a minute.

[A few minutes later Breaker will see a white-armored figure descend from the sky and land at the end of the alley. His helmet opens up and the armor vanishes in a flash of light to reveal Sadamitsu. He realizes the first aid kit from the D-Reader as he walks over.]

Lemme see how bad it is.

[Breaker nods and points to the ball of fur against the alley wall. Paulo as shaking, his sobs now cracking from the cold air and his throat becoming sore. The snow below his head had turned red from his blood and his injured ear was easy enough to see.]

[Sadamitsu sets down the first aid kit and squats down next to the... giant cat?

I ain't gonna ask anymore.

He sees the ear and starts digging through the first aid supplies for some kind of disinfectant.]

Hey. It just your ear that's hurt or's there something else?

[The orange feline boy's head turns towards Sadamitsu, tears still running down his eyes. He slowly sits up, his body shaking from the crying and cold.

He moves a hand from his neck, revealing where the monster had used it's teeth to rip a piece of it out. It was bleeding a bit, snow clinging to the wound.

He doesn't say anything though, his eyes staring at the spot he last saw the monster, staring at the spot where he heard his Mother's voice.]

[Sadamitsu moved faster when he saw the neck wound, now thinking of vampires. He uttered the standard first aid phrase an instant before squirting the disinfectant on the wound.]

This is gonna sting.

[Paulo winces when the disinfectant hits the wound. He looks over at the man who is helping him, his expression somewhere between fear and curiosity.]

W-Who are you?

[His voice comes out rough and hoarse, his throat was now extremely sore from the cold and all the crying.]

Sadamitsu. I'm on the Hyperion security team.

[He starts to unwrap the gauze before realizing that he won't be able to get it to stick with Paulo's fur around it. He digs up a pair of scissors and starts to clip off the fur around the wound.

He'll also need to see if there's someone with actual medical training at the Hyperion who can tell if the wound will need stitches. Right now he's just making sure Paulo won't bleed everywhere.]

What happened?

[Paulo stares at Sadamitsu for a moment. He doesn't know if he wants to tell what happened. But...this guy does seem nice.]

I...I thought I heard my Mom. But...it wasn't her. It was a monster pretending to be her. It attacked me.

[His eyes fall on the orange fur that fell onto the snow as it was clipped away. They start to water again.]

Can we go back to the Hyperion now?

[He scowls.]

That's a dirty trick. Better warn everyone when we get back.

[He tapes a patch of gauze over the wound and does a quick cleaning and bandaging of Paulo's ear before tossing everything back in the first aid kit and storing it.]

Okay. Can you stand?

[Paulo slowly stands up, using the wall to brace himself. His legs feel pretty numb now, but he thinks he can walk.]

H-How are we getting back?

We find a lightpost, feline. That's how.

[Paulo flinches at Breaker's harsh tone. Why did he have to be so mean at a time like this?]

Naw. We fly. Junk?

[Junk opens up and Sadamitsu puts on the helmet. The white Material Guard armor forms in a flash of light. He crouches down with his back to Paulo.]

Get on.

[Paulo completely forgot about Breaker when Sadamitsu suddenly had armor on. He gulps as he climbs onto the man's back and grabs on tight.]

And what about me?

[Breaker steps towards Sadamitsu, one brow raised.]
