The time of all-nighters at the barn is at an end...for now. I just need to regain my sense of day and night and that would be awesome. Thanks to you who called me at midnight and later to help keep me up! It really helped. Thanks to my dog for sticking his tongue up my nose whenever my phone alarm went on. It was really gross.
Let's see if I can recap the birth of the equine Jesus:
- I didn't have to fist the horse giving birth. So, bonus.
- Owner of horse was not present to annoy the shit out of me, even if she would have had the best of intentions. So, bonus.
- Mother of equine Jesus has decided to not hate me anymore, either because of hormones or because I was present at the birth and didn't eat Jesus. Which I guess is a bonus, unless the owners get jealous of moi (she still hates them).
There really isn't much to tell since it was a textbook delivery (The part of the textbook where everything goes right, I mean. Not the part of the textbook where the foal has to be cut into pieces and be removed with pliers. Not making that up.)
Time to ask for some sort of raise since I believe I'll be spending an extra two hours out there every day I work. I'd like a thousand dollars a week, plskthx. I need to buy BSG in HD.
