Lots of stuff going on. Things at my job are getting pretty creepy. (1) We're under conservatorship of the NCUA, meaning that everything's being scrutinized to the nth degree, and with good cause it seems. (2) My former manager who was fired last week was arraigned for embezzling $90K from the credit union over the past two years. (3) My supervisor and the vault teller were both canned yesterday. Things are getting pretty fucking tense. I've since applied at Midwest Financial Credit Union in Ann Arbor and am crossing my fingers, because the lack of stability and lousy pay @ Huron are proving quite unnerving - New job.
It'd be cool to get a job at Midwest for ease of commute as well, since, come the end of May, I'll be moving into an apartment in Ann Arbor with my old friend Sarah. I love city life, and though there's a lot of pretension in Ann Arbor, I think that's compensated for by the vitality of the city. It's invigorating for me, and I can't wait to be buzzing about out there - New digs.
My family has a knack for popping 'em out, let me tell you. I think I can count on frequent perpetual births for some time to come, though it makes me shudder to think about sometimes. Newest editions are Mikayla, my brother Sean and sis-in-law Kendra's daughter, and Haylee, Dan and Heather's third. Oi! They are cute, though. - New babies.
Reino sifted out of town some months back with his appendage, and though I still consider him a friend, it's nice to have a good long breath of fresh air after having been smothered in so much bullshit. I'm letting the resentment go slowly. It's just not worth holding onto. - Renewed perspective.
I have a new friend, Nick. We've been having a lot of fun together. So that's new too. :)
