 the DEQ can go fuck itself.  really.  im betting people who actually live in or around marquette county would prefer to not have a sulfide mine put into their backyards...i know i don't....  except for the token visit or two im betting most people from downstate have not spent time in the up and therefore don't actually care about what goes on "up

Hmmmm Seems like the mine is going in. Fuck. I really didn't want it to go in, but then again I didn't fight against it either. These days, I'm having a hard time rolling out of bed, let alone actually fighting a hungry corporate entity.

I'm starting to think that the whole state of Michigan is just one big lost cause. I'd rather ship out the 20 or so people I give a damn about and just abandon the rest. Oh sure, I love the U.P. and it's pretty, but almost no one gives a damn. I'm tired of not nearly enough people appreciating their state. *present company excluded of course*

You know what? Fuck 'em. Lets see how they feel when they build some random subdivision right over the mine drain area. Of course the plot was cheap to build, you're growing a new tumor!
