Bangda udid-methi is the best damn fish gravy I have ever eaten. Over rice, and accompanied by some stuffed Bangda fry, it is the ideal Sunday lunch. A tad too much to eat in one meal for me these days, but no repentance when a three hour siesta follows ;-)
Bought by me at INA fish market and cooked by the wife (assisted by me) at home. We are getting rather good at this Sunday seafood routine. Pomfret/Surmai/Prawns have all been done. So do plan to visit on Sunday.
Yeah yeah I know about Delhi and fresh seafood and all that - but one does what one can. Quite fresh stuff comes from Orissa by the way. Not too bad.
