crying like a baby
interesting that we use that

expression
A baby's only means of communicating

its need
is to scream, cry, weep
in hopes that some answer will arrive.
Every need is so desperate
that the only language that can

encompass it
is to cry.

We need... and we cry

We beg for relief from a need so

desperate we can't communicate it any

other way.

Am I in this situation because I'm inflexible, or because I bend like a reed in the wind? Does no one listen because I am unwilling to do things any way but mine, or do things fail to go my way because I am too conciliatory? Is it both?

If you're into knifeplay as a kink, and you cut yourself, is it masturbation or is it self-harm? Is there a context in which it becomes acceptable to part your skin with a steel whisper and let the blood come
to the surface, iron meeting iron?

I want catharsis. I want pain. I want to let lightning dance across my skin, to let heated metal sear a kiss into my flesh. To dance with someone and converse with fists, kicks, elbows, knuckles....

*sigh*

I was given some self-inventory questions.

1. Are you committed to spirituality and your spiritual community?

Absolutely I am committed to my own spiritual growth. I have no commitment what so ever to my church. It's a building. There are nice people. I'm committed to seeking the Kingdom and showing it to anyone who has an eye to see it through me.

2. Are you a pot-stirrer, a gossip? Do you like to start things?

No. I am not a gossip. I do the opposite. If I speak on an inflammatory subject I'm fishing for information. I want to be contradicted if anyone can. I'd like to know more, seek opinions, grow.
I am not always so careful about confirming my information though. Or about hearing everyone's side of a story.

3. What do you bring to the table of life?

What I bring is good, nourishing, wholesome, and not always familiar. Not everyone likes the flavor, and some are unwilling to try new things.

4. Does your behavior disturb people?

My behavior comforts the disturbed, and if it disturbs someone they need to be disturbed, as they are far too comfortable.
