So, surprised...
Whee! I now have 2 commissions I"m working on, one as a gift for Ranalas, a friend I met in World of Warcraft... and then one that, much to my surprise, sold within a DAY on FurBuy, to a guy who has pretty good feedback overall. That's a minimum of $50 right there.
Either way, the two stories seem like ones that will be quite fun indeed, and I'm expecting they'll be a lot easier to write than Serving the Herd (check it out on SoFurry.com... it's adult, so you'll have to log in first) was... which challenged me to write well about a kink/subject that really doesn't do much at all for me. If the votes and faves, and watches, I'm getting on SoFurry.com are any indication, well... I succeeded, and the one that commissioned me, ModMyths, is incredibly pleased with it.
Ranalas', tentatively called 'A Roomie's Secret' is m/m, a little kinked... got a wolf and bunny.. where said bunny is the dominant one.
The next is f/f/f... THAT one will be amusing to do, though it's a bit of a tall order. Still, I'm going to have fun with it. The one that proposed the commission has been very communicative, and been specific, which I like. The less they leave me wondering about, the better I can tailor to their desires. I'm worried that he wants a little too much put into it, but I'm not minding going over the 6k soft-limit since I'm trying to build a reputation.
