No. 33 "Pick up one piece of trash a day from the street, sidewalk, general environment"
Turns out, picking up trash is very addictive. I find that once I pick up a piece of trash, say a napkin for example, my eyes are drawn to everything else. One piece of trash turns into two or three in fairly short order. I feel like I get extra points for things that can be recycled. Not that anyone's keeping score or anything.
No. 18 "Put clothes away within 24 hours of hanging them out to dry"
I am the laziest house keeper ever. That's part of why I took this challenge on...so far we're off to a slow start in the general self improvement game.
In other news...
-Turned in my two weeks notice yesterday and it was very anti-climactic. Both HR gorilla and McGruff were out of the office. Alice won't be back until Tuesday and McGruff will probably roll in Monday. I just hope my letter doesn't get lost in the shuffle of their desk clutter. At this point I don't want to give them a chance to refute my leaving.
-Emory is courting Mel which meant I enjoyed her and Rene's company for dinner Friday night. Huzzah!
-Part of me fears Denver just because that will put me closer to my relatives and their drama. Always here on the East Coast I felt detached from them and their issues. As if being two time zones away meant they weren't my problem.
