One day I'll get better at sharing out loud.
But for now I'll try and remember to apologize to the Ohios upstairs. Every time I cook and the smoke alarm goes off I'm not trying to kill them and their new squalling humanoid. I'm just trying to make dinner. Is it really my fault the blasted thing goes off when there's steam coming from the noodles?
This weekend I was reminded what it's like to spontaneously smile. It felt good. mDub visit to get some kids graduated...and by some I mean the class of 007...and then Mother's Day. As much as Mum and I are alike and butt heads a lot of the time she is a truly amazing woman. If I can grow up to have that much character and love of life I think I'll be lucky.
Started making lemonade today at work. Zesty lemonade in the form of Zilla and I taking over lifestyles properly. Bunny moved on last week so this was Zilla and I's first time in the terrarium together. We might get a new girl and that would be wonderful in and of itself. She breathes! She can put sentences together! She passes the two most important tests!
Also got a nibble at one of the resume lines I cast out. It's also the one I'm least inspired by, but the one that would put me in Maryland. No use worrying just yet since they still need my transcript...disregard the part where it wasn't on the job announcement to begin with.
Shower then sleep. Tomorrow I get to go in late too! Yay no staff meeting for this duckling!
