Wheee! I can has job
So it's just temporary. And it's just part-time.
But I spoke this morning with my shop foreman at the bus garage and they'd like me to come back this fall and work. I have become quite accustomed to being a temporary employee and it will be very nice to at least have a consistent temporary gig rather than these past couple of weeks. Since September started I've worked at all three of my maybe sometimes jobs (library, subbing and modeling) but never more than a couple hours a day.
Working in the field and with folks who:
a) already accept my girly vs. burly quirks
b) are willing to work with my school schedule makes me very happy
In other news...
-The Fuzzbutts are neutered and spayed respectively but still just as crazy.
-Our wash machine has been broken since before Labor Day.
-The Susan G. Komen race is next week and I'll get a visit from my sister out of the whole deal.
-Also, I burned Owencreature's foot with a pot of "Welcome to Colorado" soup for Brydon and his lovely lady. Owen's foot is healing and my car smells of soup death.
I think life is good.
