Fighting for understanding and normality

Oct 23, 2011 20:44

Notes: It became two more parts (don’t know how that happened) so this is the second to last. I wanted to show a small glimpse of what their everyday life could look like, but it became a little bit more drama than I had expected.

All parts here.

Summary: John does something stupid while trying to understand what Sherlock is doing to himself.

O.O so the next part I read is (maybe *hinthint*) the last part in this torturing good verse...well that is the only thing that is 'a bit not good' about this entire piece because the rest was stunning.

you’re part of the problem,” John said with a sigh.

“That’s a false dichotomy,” Sherlock frowned.

For some reason, I really, really liked this line. *g*

Glad to hear; it took me the better part of a lunch break to find a proper English term for it ;)

This is so so heartbreaking and so very well written. I haven't read this series before, but I so love the way you write Sherlock and John individually and together.

I planned to review it all at the end but I have a small sort of observation to make: from my own experiences with genuine British persons (tm) when they say tea they mean the English Breakfast kind and not any other kind. I find it unlikely Sherlock and John would even have fruit teas in the house. When my British friend first came to visit and she wanted tea and I was like "Which kind?" "Normal tea." "Fruit tea, black tea, green tea?" "Tea!"

If this makes no sense, I apologize. It's 4 in the morning.

It make perfect sense, I've had this comment before when it comes to my description of John's tea habbits. Sherlock is constantly annoyed by it and even though I'm aware that is wrong I can't stop John from buying fruit tea (mostly because Sherlock's annoyance amuses me).

...and if this make no sense, it's early here ;)
