This was originally for picspammy's December challenge, but with a whole lot of real life problems, I didn't have time to finish this until today.
I didn't start watching Battlestar Galactica until September '08. And I seriously didn't really know who Mary McDonnell was before that. Something about her name sounded vaguely familiar, but it wasn't until I looked her up on imdb that I realised she was in one of my favourite films, Dances With Wolves. Although, to be honest, I was too much of a Kevin Costner fangirl to notice anybody else when I was a kid. Silly me. But ever since I started watching BSG, I can't get enough of Mary. She's such an incredible actress, and she should get a frakkin' award already! Also? She's the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen. And the fact that she's a redhead (most of the time, anyway)? Let's not even get into that. I'm so hung up on her hair. ♥ And legs and eyes and smile and lines and everything.
I had such a hard time deciding on pictures, because there are so many out there. Especially of the public appearances. That's also why I didn't include any pictures of her films. That, and the fact that I haven't really seen enough of those yet. Something that will definitely change in 2009. I'll watch every film she's ever done that I can get my hands on.
