One...step...closer...
I have been medically and dentally cleared by the Peace Corps medical office. This happened *insanely* fast, within a few days of my submitting my forms (the average time is supposed to be six weeks). I chalk it up to my obsessively checking and re-checking my paperwork, and even adding a cover letter detailing exactly which paperwork was submitted (including form numbers and attachments).
Still awaiting legal clearance (stupid divorce). Once that's done, it's just a question of the Placement Office agreeing with my nomination and finding me a place to go.
