B Jazz Band morning/New Drummer!
Hey, today I had to get up at 6:30 and be at school by 7 for my first day in jazz band. i got there exactly on time, but i was the only person there and thought that i had come on the wrong day! anyways, not i know that everyone shows up at 7:15, so thats probably when ill show up too. and since i play piano, i dont have to set up like everyone else. kyle stared drumming for us today, and he did a really good job, even though sadly hes not as good as i expected. he still was good though. he needs to play a little softer too, since now hes having the same problems as with lucas in our early days, when he was drummer. Now I'm doing homework, which i have sunk back into the cycle of again. it sucks. oh well, i get to sleep in again tomorrow, since jazz band is only on tuesdays and thursdays. i got my formal tux, which is super-duper. too bad i forgot what to match miraya with it, and for some odd reason i got red since i slightly remembered that she had that color, which turned out to be pink and only the skirt. oh well, i really dont care, just trying to make her happy. I also need to write some lyrics for a slightly happy song that we have the music for. I have to idea what to write about. I want it to be more about bigger things than just getting busted by the cops or snowboarding or some potheads...well, i hate writing lyrics, but im the only one in my band that actually does except for noah, so whatever.
