The Big C and Life Update

Hello all,  Okay,now I bet you're all pretty sick of hearing about my nan, and more has been going on between just that. So I'd like to basically share the last two weeks, so I don't type something later that confuses people.

Two weeks ago I found out about nan, and got my grade for my work, so I was in bit of a weird state. University still carries

To be honest I was ambivalent about Chalfonts - I think because you only really did Media with me you were mainly around at the times I didn't like, especially as you know how I feel (felt) about Michie. Not totally undeserved as he really tried to discourage me from applying to Cardiff as my chances were slim (due to it being a "very good, and popular university"). Various other stuff, too. Got to admit he shut up when I got my A-level results though, so never mind.

I actually really liked the other two subjects I had and most of the teachers so I can't really complain about that, except maybe the teaching was pretty bad for ICT so no one did well. Some of the people were a bit irritating but equally I liked a lot of the people there too.

I was always just sort of jaded over Chalfonts because my brother goes to a school where something like 10 A*s is normal and my dad always tells me "my GCSE grades weren't my fault, it was just the school I was in". And it's annoying at Uni when 90% of my coursemates had 25% of their year getting three As and everyone else getting Bs when I basically had a nervous breakdown working for mine. :P Sigh. So yeah, by the standards I've been surrounded with, I'm surprised that Chalfonts got "outstanding".

Nice for Becki and Iyad though - loads of people are getting married apparently, including Carly and Amy Gaunt. Still seems like such an early age but whatever makes people happy.

There's probably not much use having me on Facebook anyway, I check LJ far, far more often than FB, and I actually don't really read people's updates on FB. :P So I miss fuckloads of stuff, for example my old housemate had a baby 2 years ago and I only realised last week. I used to use it more often but it's a lot of effort to trawl through a lot of shit that doesn't matter.
