So much for cool evenings....but I have A/C in my bedroom!!!
Oh I am soooooo in debt to G for helping get the A/C unit installed Friday. I actually have been waking up chilled. Okay....so I am still in the "playing" stage and need to decide what is a comfortable temperature. I also need to figure out how to preset it so it can start in the evening and then turn off in the wee hours after the outside temps have cooled down. That and the energy saver mode - not sure if I have that working correctly yet.
We didn't do too much this weekend because it was wickedly hot. Never made it to that stream to soak in...maybe another time. G just doesn't do well in the heat - well for that matter I have to watch it so I don't get heat stroke.
We did go by a nursery that was having a fundraiser yesterday. Had a wonderful coconut-lemon pie that was crustless. Very light and very good! And there was a wonderful woman guitarist playing. Couldn't quite figure out the accent she had, but she did say she was doing a concert in Portland in Oct. So I gave her my e-mail address so I can find out more.
And of course I took some pictures....
