Car and Money complaints

(Looks like I'm gunna start this month out being spammy)

Anyway, took a two or three hour nap after my earlier post and then went to work on getting my car taken care of. They couldn't fix the A/C since I have an older system that needs to be converted, but at least I've gotten my alignment taken care of. (-$180) I'll have to go somewhere else for the A/C, get it converted (approx -$150) and figure out what's wrong with it (probably a leak), get that fixed and get new freon put in (also approx -$150). *le sigh*

There goes my first paycheck, and I haven't even been able to buy clothes that I kinda need (having discovered holes in the jeans I wore the other day).

And I still have to fix my bathtub spout. And I am/I was/I might still be considering getting a new sink fixture since the one I have is FUGLY and sorta acting up. But I talked to my dad and he said that would run me a good $60 dollars for a decent sink. BOO.

I finally start to think I'm getting ahead in the world by getting a job again, and then find all these things that need to be fixed and paid for and maintained. I still don't even pay for hardly anything around here, my mom picking up like all of the bills. I just don't understand how people are supposed to survive on their own out there and not be in total and complete debt forever. I want to have enough money to get by, as well as some for fun, and some to put away for emergencies and big purchases and such. How is it supposed to be done?! TAT

Uh, I had more I was gunna say, but I forgot what is was because in the middle of this entry I ran back over to Sears cuz I had left Eragon at the counter. D'oh. BUT! I have now finished it. Finished it up while waiting for car work. I'm trying to decide whether to start the next one, or move on to something else for a while, since finishing the second will probably leave me annoyed that I don't have the end of the story, but not reading it now, will mean that events from the first book won't be as fresh in my mind when I do get around to reading the second...*shrug*
