This entry is going to be nothing but football. If you know me, you kwow that when I say football, I mean soccer. ANYWAYS, there has been a lot of speculation on United offloading players this summer and it is something that NEEDS to happen in order to make the team better. The commitment level on some players parts is way subpar. If I were manager, I would make the following changes for next season. Don't forget we have £25m from Glazer... I'm trying not to count on that. Ok, here are the changes that MUST be made in order to compete in Europe next season and to bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.
Sell: Saha(£8m), Kleberson(£3m), P. Neville(£4m), Ricardo(£1m), Fortune(£2m), Carroll(£3m) = £21m
Speculated transfers: RvN (£20m), Ferdinand (£30m) = £50m
Glazer's funds = £25m

Total Funds = £96m
Now we will need to replace these positions: Central Defence, Central Midfielder, Goalkeeper, and several auxillary midfielders.
Buy these players:
Michael Ballack (£20m), he will fill the boots of Keane-o when he decides to retire, we need someone with that aggressive mentality. He has it.
Stewart Downing(£8m), he is a youngster, and has the key element that nobody seems to have nowadays...a left boot! He will be perfect to replace Giggsy, SAF can develop his talent and turn him into a world class player.
Glen Johnson(£9m), if Rio really is leaving, we need an established centre back to take his spot, Johnson proved himself worthy near the end of the campaign, helping Chelsea lift the title for the first time in 50 years...bummer.
Shay Given(£8m), after being stuck with a terrible Newcastle side, he's fed up, he'll want to join a good team and he is already an established keeper in the Premiership, he is definiely a good choice
OR
Carlo Cudicini(£8m), he will want some first team action, and that's not going to happen anytime soon at Chelsea with the way Petr Cech has been playing. Win-Win situation.
We really won't need a replacement for RvN because we have so many capable strikers. We should promote Rossi,Spector and Pique to see if they are ready.
