Name: Tyki Mikk
Fandom: D.gray-man
Type: Alternate Universe

Age: Mid 30s
Gender: Male
Species: Human

Appearance:

Tyki has two forms which he has dubbed white and black. While he prefers to stay in black from all the time this won't be possible in Emerald.

White

His white form is his human form and represents a normal life. Unlike canon versions of Tyki, however, he doesn't dress as a traveling bum in overalls and thick brimmed glasses. His attire for his white form is a well fitted, long coat suit and top hat though sometimes messy. He is of Portuguese descent but doesn't have very dark skin. In his white form he has notable scars. He's got burn marks up the left side up to his shoulder for Lavi's fire seal and jagged cross shaped wound across his chest and his left fore arm and upper arm from Allen's attempted exorcism.

Black

His black form is his Noah side. It marks that he holds Joyd, the Noah memory of Pleasure. It is represented by gray skin, yellow eyes, and cross shapes that line his forehead. His attire is the same formal wear. In this form he does have the same scars as his white form. He is vain and uses his abilities to hide them.

Mission
Killing people who are related to Cross. The mission which the Earl gave Tyki, is to kill all the Exorcists listed on the card. Most of them are people who have connections with General Cross, Allen is also in the list. Depending on Cell Roron, which he received from the Earl, to find his targets. Completing his mission with an uncaring attitude. Feeling shocked when he finds out that Allen, who should be dead, is actually still alive. He felt the power of the INNOCENCE and now approaches the killing of Exorcists with a more serious attitude.

Double personalities
Switching between his human and Noah sides - Even though Tyki has the abilities of a Noah, but he also enjoys his human life at the same time. Both sides are equally important to him, but this has turned into a burden as this has caused his real power to remain asleep. Sometimes, he will take action using his Noah abilities. During this time, he will be like the other Noahs, thinking cruel thoughts. Tyki has a lot of human friends. From his warm smile, his intent to destroy human kind cannot be detected at all.

Life
A free way of life? His private life is unexpectedly unorganized and seems to pass life based on what he is feeling. After awakening as a Noah, his attitude did not change, and the Earl has reprimanded him before on his wandering life.
Eating the Koi in the pond whole. Actions which do not match his appearance. Even Jasdevi is shocked.

Comrades
Human comrades who have been through thick and thin together - Unable to abandon his human way of life. He has important comrades who have been with him since a long time ago. But he will have to bid them farewell one day? When Tyki first met Allen, they parted ways before knowing by each other’s true identity.

Power
Choice: Power to choose everything in the world
Able to penetrate matter based on his will
Tyki’s ability is to “choose” freely. Based on his will, he can pass through all matter, a useful ability. Even though the original purpose of the ability is not to be used as a direct attack, but with Tyki’s train of thought, it became a scary ability. Able to pass through a human body and leave it unharmed. He will not kill an enemy immediately as he prefers cruel methods. Even Tyki’s ability is not clear, he is able to cause the man eating golems to morph and make a simple shield.

Reject: The controller of all matter!
Being the opposite of freely choosing to pass through any matter, would be to choose a particular substance and use “reject” on it. To Tyki, everything that exists in this world can be his weapon. Choosing the air below his feet and rejecting it. Just like walking on flat ground, showing his ability to walk in the air. Ejecting all the air around Allen, creating a vacuum. To Tyki who can freely use his choosing ability, this is his unique way of attacking.

Awakening: The awakening of his true power
Tyki was unable to abandon his human self, so naturally, he battles with only part of his power. But after being cornered by Allen, the Noah power hidden within him awakened and he started showing a threatening fighting power. Tyki, who had turned into something strange, started releasing strong attacks on Allen, and went on a rampage. The Noah in every generation which inherited the memory of “Pleasure” seem to possess a great power, the Earl is also happy with Tyki’s awakening.

Tease: The ability from the Earl
Tyki does not like to dirty his hands and frequently uses the golems made by the Earl, Tease, to do the killing. General Yeegar and Daisya were both killed by Tease. Tease reproduce by eating human. Tyki implanted Tease eggs into Suman’s body.
Using the choice ability to penetrate the body and using the Tease in the palm of his hand to eat the opponent’s organs.

Canon events written in my own words

On one side of the conflict are the Black Order and their Exorcists. Men and women chosen by shards of a substance called Innocence that allow them to destroy Akuma, machines powered by human souls. On the other side is the the Millennium Earl. He has lived over 7000 years, creating the machines called Akuma. However, among his followers are a group of humans who now hold the Memories of Noah. Tyki is hosting Joyd, the Memory of Noah's Pleasure.

However, Tyki made his first debut in his white form, the form he used to coincide with the humanity. He and his friends literally won the clothes off Krory's back, a man who was headed to the Black Order to become an Exorcist. Allen Walker saw the situation and intervened. Being very good at cheating at poker, Allen reversed the tide, and Tyki and his friends found themselves outmatched. Allen returned all of their possessions, stating he only wanted the things that were Krory's. In return, Tyki gave Allen the pack of cards they had played with.

Shortly after, the Earl handed out assignments to each of his Noah ordering them to kill Exorcists on their list. Tyki killed a handful of Exorcist, Suman among them, who he kept alive but with cannibalistic devices known as Tease in him to devour him from the inside out. The betrayal caused his weapon, Innocence, to try to consume him. Allen Walker tried to save Suman and even prevent his Innocence from killing him, but in the end, the Tease devoured Suman's body.

Tyki recognized Allen as 'Cheating Boy A' as he had been dubbed from the train. He soon learned the boy's name was Allen Walker, a person on his list from the Earl to kill. This boy intrigued him, and he would have liked to play poker with him again, but such was fate. He destroyed Allen's arm, the weapon called Innocence he used to fight Akuma, and let a Tease eat a hole in his heart and left him for dead.

And from here I'm going to pull Tyki. He'll have no knowledge that Allen Walker lived or the battle in Edo. He'll also be spared his failed Exorcism along with the Awakening of his Noah, Joyd.

He learned later, much to his dismay, that Allen Walker was still very much alive. Allen's broken Innocence had somehow filled the hole in his heart. He sent a Level 3 Akuma to go and kill him, but that also ended in failure. The Exorcists found the location of the Earl's hideout and a battle ensued. The Earl was trying to create a new Ark, a large cube which part of his base resided in, by transferring the data from the old one. The Earl retreated, forcibly taking his Noah with him as he knew the new Ark was just about ready to be completed. He sealed some of the Exorcists inside of the old Ark to be destroyed with it.

Instead of leaving the Exorcists to die, some of the Noah decided to stay in the old Ark to do battle. Tyki and his older sister Road waited for the Exorcists at the top. And when they arrived, Tyki once again battled with Allen going so far as calling it the 'Last Dance'. He mentioned he didn't really hate the boy, but he realized he couldn't just play the game, he had to put his all into it. During the battle, Tyki unleashed the power he'd been holding back before to trap Allen in an air tight bubble, removing all the air so he would suffocate. Allen, pushed to his limit, changed his Innocence to the form of an oversized sword and sliced at the Noah. The sword was made to Exorcise Noah. To kill the Memory inside them but leave the human alive. The first strike was painful, causing cross shaped scars along the wound, but it wasn't completely successful. Then Allen charged to completely exterminate the Noah inside Tyki.

Up until that point, this was the cornerstone of Tyki's personality, what made life enjoyable to live. A white side for his human friends and a black side for his Noah family.

Tyki's white side was that of a freelance bum with an appearance to match. He traveled from town to town by train with a group of friends doing menial manual labor. The pay was poor, causing him to frequently stay in run down shacks. However, this lifestyle allowed him to be very carefree and cheery. He enjoyed giving Eeez, the boy traveling with them, shiny stones and other trinkets he came across. It also allowed him to play and cheat at poker in the back of trains. Overall, the white side lived the carefree life of a wandering traveler looking for work.

His black side shared some similarities. He was still very laid back, sarcastic, and mostly upbeat. He was also a bit lazy as evident that he eats raw fish from the koi pond instead of bothering to cook it. But for the most part, his black form was far from being a model citizen in any sense. He enjoyed killing people even to the point where he knows it is wrong and he still doesn't care. It's fun, so he does it without thinking about the consequences. Impulses drove many of his decisions.

Having these two halves is what made life interesting for Tyki. The balancing act of keeping his carefree white side alive while still being able to maintain his sadistic nature was a constant thrill. However, at that moment, Tyki decided that perhaps that wasn't important. How much easier could life be without one or the other. In the end he knew it would be boring, even as he stopped Road from interfering. He fell to the ground unconscious with the mark of Noah fading from his forehead.

In a twist of irony, instead of killing the Noah inside Tyki, the strike caused him to transform into a second, more evolved state. He became Awakened and consumed by Joyd, the Noah memory within him. He lost all of his humanity and became a creature that only wanted to kill the enemy in front of him. Cross Marian, Allen's master, appeared and was about to kill Tyki after he mentioned how unsightly it was for him to fall to such a state, when the Earl pulled him from the battle. The Earl mentioned that Tyki had been suppressing his Noah this entire time and was pleased to see that it had fully awakened.

Later Tyki is shown with the other Noah and the Earl, discussing the trouble that was Allen Walker. To keep up the facade of family, Tyki has been playing the part of brother to Cyril Kamelot, who adopted Road, the oldest and arguably most sadistic of the Noah. His hair was longer. This is only due to Road's request that he keeps it long. He still carried lingering pains and some heavy scarring from the failed Exorcism. At another Noah gathering where all but but two Noah were present, the Noah were scattered across the world to make attacks on Exorcists. Tyki, the Earl, and a few other Noah went to the Exorcist's base to retrieve Allen Walker. Not only was the boy compatible with Innocence, but he seemed to carry within him the memory of the traitor Noah.

Tyki brought Allen back to the Black Order's base where he was met with Cyril, Wisely, Road and the Earl. They tried to get him to join them as he was one of their own. Allen refused, though the 14th, the traitor Noah, did come out to taunt the Earl. This set of a chain of events leading to the creation of a powerful Akuma for the Earl and the building housing the Order being destroyed. Outside the ruins, the Noah, with Tyki included among them, surveyed the wreckage.

NEED TO ADD LATEST CHAPTERS

Psychology:
Despite being from an alternate universe, he is at his core, Tyki Mikk. Let's start with that first.

At the beginning of the series there are two distinct personalities. Now this isn't caused by some trauma or mental illness. No, Tyki creates two distinct lives because it amuses. The trill of keeping them both very active, yet separate is a challenge he enjoys and thrives on. The first personality is that of a wayward bum. One that travels from town to town looking for mining gigs along with some traveling buddies. They are poor, scraggly yet a hardworking jovial bunch with a knack for cheating at poker. They get by day to day and seem content with their lot in life.

His second personality is one of a murderer. At some point a Memory of Noah's Pleasure, Joyd the 3rd Disciple awoke within him. The Noah Memories are reborn time and time again and live to serve and protect the Millennium Earl. Joyd has the power of choice. Anything in the world Tyki can freely interact with or not interact with allowing him to walk on walls, stand on air, or even house tools in the shape of butterflies known as Tease within him. Their true goals are unknown, but the entire group delights in killing humans thinking themselves something more, something better. In this avenue of life Tyki cleans up his speech, puts on a pressed suit, and travels around the world doing the Millennium Earl's bidding. The most common being murdering the Exorcists. Tyki takes great joy in watching those on his list die with fear in their eyes as his powers allow him to pluck organs or have his mechanical butterflies eat them out while the victim is still alive. He tends to be very boastful and arrogant in this form treating others as merely toys in a chest.

Tyki goes about living these lives in parallel spending time in one or the other keeping the balance. Now whether he is acting like a hobo on a corner or as an assassin, the two personalities still have a similar base to draw from. Tyki is generally laid back. Life goes by and he gets the opportunity to pick and choose which parts he enjoys. He is driven by what he sees and enjoyable and rarely deviates from that. He doesn't hold a sense of justice or righteousness. Life comes. Make the most of it and enjoy. Now this doesn't mean his is passive about life. More that he searches for least amount of effort with greatest reward. Another way this is seen in his vices. He is a heavy smoker as he enjoys it but doesn't care too much about the consequences of lung cancer if he is aware of it. He is also a rather sarcastic fellow calling the main protagonist a cheating boy when he was so thoroughly trounced by cards by him. He will even sometimes mock the Earl by calling him fat or naming some of the other members of the family such as the one that likes candy 'Sweet tooth'. He is also rather personable in a way. He's got his human buddies he hangs around with generally like him and miss hm when he leaves. The same goes for his Noah family. He seems to get along with the group fairly well.

On an intellectual level, however, Tyki doesn't seem to be at the top of the class. His fighting style seems to favor gut instinct rather than critical inspection of the battlefield. He joins battles because it is 'fun' and that is the goal he is trying to achieve. He also seems rather unhelpful with Road and her homework. In general, studying and such don't appeal to him. He leaves that up to other members of the group. In short, Tyki doesn't really concern himself with the big picture. He is just in it for the here and now.

However, this all changes once his Noah is completely awakened. Allen Walker, the protagonist, had a means of destroying the Noah within him. He'd always struggled keeping the two lives balanced, and Tyki was actually suppressing his full Noah potential to preserve it. In the end, however, he did choose his white life, taking the hit and preventing his allies from interfering. But life isn't what one always expects. Somehow this backfires, and Joyd is fully awakened. Once that settles down, Tyki abandons his white life and focuses on the Earl's task in earnest.

A last smaller note, Tyki does think a little less of women. It isn't completely apparent, but he does mock the female Exorcists. this seems to only apply to humans, however, as he doesn't show this side to the female members of the Noah Clan. He doesn't dislike women, but has more of the old mentality of a man's place and a woman's place in the world.

Okay, okay, so what is different about this particular alternate universe version?

There are few things. First, due to his circumstances he has a closer affinity with his Noah clan. Their deaths have put their memories in a stated where he sees them with 'rose colored glasses'. He thinks fondly of them, and given a choice between his two lives a second time, he would choose black. This wouldn't be an easy choice for him, and he'd try not to make a choice at all, but if he had to that is where the cards would fall. The second is he is more likely to make long term goals. This is the Earl's subconscious influence on him. He might plan a little more than a canon Tyki and sit back and watch the results. Now, this doesn't mean he still isn't in for the most bang for his buck, he is just more inclined to make things happen or set rather lofty goals in place if they suit his needs. Along with this he's become much more of a showman like the Earl. While he doesn't plan things out for elaborate plays with multiple pieces falling into place, he can appreciate how setting up a pawn or two can make the outcome a bit more spectacular. The workmanship a bit more holistic.

He is more unstable. Tyki constantly hears the unclear murmurs of the Memories in his head and see them at the edge of his vision. It is an eternal peanut gallery with their own thoughts, opinions and desires. He's dealt with it long enough to be able to function quite well, but he is more prone to react to smaller things that wouldn't normally trigger him if he were canon. He is more likely to start conflicts and switc topics once they bore him. A little bit like ADHD. However, as time has gone by killing has had less meaning to him. He is no longer in a position where he kill without consequence or consequence he believes he can handle. This irritates him a bit, but he's altered his strategy to match the situation. Rather than death enjoys his victims being in fear or uncomfortable with a situation and keeping them off their feet. Seeing if he can play them or make them believe something that they will find out later is an untruth.

Tyki is also not as open as he used to be. By nature he isn't a person who is deceptive. If he likes you, he'll tell you. If he doesn't, you'll be sure to know. He likes to keep people guessing, but the punchline or point won't be too far off. However, while he used to admit freely about his abilities and the Noah clan, he no longer does. Consequences have put him in a position where he can't be so open and free. In addition to this people affiliated with the Black Order he will avoid at first.

Key Events:
Canon Events
Suman's Fall and Meeting Allen Walker - Tyki at his core is rather sadistic. Almost all the Noah are. In his meeting with Allen Walker, he leaves him bleeding out in a field with a hole in his heart so he can feel death encroaching upon him. That takes someone really cold hearted to not feel sympathy or morality at the situation. For Suman, he blackmailed him and let the Tease grow inside of him so that man would eventually fall after Suman begged for his life. Tyki can ignore feelings of good will toward men when he wants to and he's not shy about being cruel in the process.

Battle on Top of the Ark - In the Ark, Tyki comments he has made a decision to give it all he has. He can no longer serve the Earl with only putting part of his effort into it. While Tyki isn't the most active and forward looking character, he hardly is completely lazy and passive. If there is something worth doing, he'll do it. He isn't going to be dismayed if he has to do a little work to get it. He's still and least amount of effort kind of guy, but when push comes to shove, he'll be there doing what he feels needs to be done.

Exorcism by Allen Walker - Right before the Allen deals Tyki a blow in which he thinks he will lose his Noah, Tyki is given a choice. Road is coming to his aide, and he could have let her interfere. However, he holds out a hand and asks her to stop. For a character that loves to have both sides, in the end he chooses his white life. This is significant as it shows that in the end he decides to be part of humanity rather than destroy it. One of the motto's Tyki is know for is "I destroy what I love. I love humans." When he had a choice between destruction and not, he choose the latter. It is an interesting aspect that shows just how human he still is despite the fact that he does posses a Noah Memory.

Awakening of Joyd - The Earl had mentioned after Tyki had fully Awakened that he had been suppressing his Noah. Unlike the other Noah who seemed to embrace their abilities more, Tyki held a bit of it at bay so he wouldn't lose his human self. This again shows how he enjoys being human. It is a part of his life, and he won't throw it away lightly.

Aftermath of Joyd Awakening - In the end, Tyki does keep in touch with reality. After the Awakening, he knows he can't go back to his old life. He puts his ability into serving the Earl. He does miss it, however, as it shows him in omakes fishing as he did in that life, but he still keeps with his decision to support the Millennium Earl.

Allen Walker's Jail Break - Tyki assists Road in getting Allen out of the Order when he is locked up for having the Fourteenth inside him. For all their history, Tyki doesn't despise Allen Walker for what he's done. In fact, he likes the kid in some ways. This demonstrates his ability to let things go. He isn't a man who is going to hold a grudge for long. He finds the next entertaining thing and moves on to it not letting the past weigh him down.

Head canon
Along with smoking, headcanon is that Tyki is also a drinker and enjoys a good night with a woman from time to time. This goes with his living in the moment and enjoying his vices. He already has smoking so drinking and woman seem to fall with it naturally.

Alternate Universe Events

The story deviates before the Alma Arc but after Corss's death. The Kamelot ball will occur as will the reawakening of the other Noah but knocking on the Order's door will not have been reached.

The scientists worked tirelessly on understanding the intricacies and abilities of the Ark that had been claimed from the Earl in Edo. Allen even began lending a hand spending more time in the Ark than outside of it. He wanted the conflict to be over. The world save for both Akuma and humans alike. Allen and the scientists were able to get the Ark to remember where it had been. Similar to getting a log or reservation book of all the places it had been. The key was Hevlaska. When she was in the Ark it seemed to react and become more alive. It attuned to her as the Innocence did as if the Ark was some missing piece to the puzzle. The group was never able to determine why as they spent their time researching more tactical information. Most importantly, where the Earl's bases were.

The Ark had opened to many spots, and the research took months. Bookman and Lavi were key as they were able to take the images and locations from the Ark and place them on a map. The most skilled of Finders led by Toma went to investigate. They were able to find the Kamelot mansion and piece together the events surrounding the country and the conflicts and war that seemed to hover over it. It wasn't until there was a sighting of Jasdero and Devit entering the place boisterously that they confirmed their suspicions. They had discovered the most recent base of the Millennium Earl.

A plan was set into motion. It was an all out attack with all the stop and roadblocks laid bare. All of the Exorcists, Crow, and Thirds were gathered for the final blow in an attempt to swiftly end the war. With the scouting they had done, they were able to find locations to open gates to the Kamelot mansion. The time was late into the evening as guests were spilling out from one party or another. Some of the Exorcists were able to mingle in with the departing guests.

No one remembers who exactly struck first. It could have been Kanda with both swords at the ready. Or it could have been Wisely crushing the brain as soon as he had determined the source of that nagging feeling of something being wrong. In either case the manor erupted into battlefield. Tyki's first encounter was with young Timothy. The ability to posses Akuma amused him. All in all, the boy's mannerisms did in general. Timothy had trained, gotten stronger enough to make the nuns he had sworn to help proud. However, he still wasn't a match for Tyki. Had he been more forgiving or in more of a 'white' mood, Tyki wouldn't have slain the boy. Having his home invaded while thrilling for the conflict it brought wasn't something he was going to go lenient on. As he moved from that tussle to the next, he encountered Lulu Bell in terrible shape. She was half transformed somewhere between a great panther and her female form. Battered and bloody she stood beside him as he was conftonted by the trio of Krory, Lavi, and Marie. The three had surprisingly honed teamwork skills. Krory's speed kept them off balance while Marie's strings hindered their movement. While those two had their full attention, Lavi let loose a large fire seal. Larger than one he had set forth before. The wall paper curled from the heat and wood furniture burned. Tyki was caught across one side as it charged. Cloth melted into burnt skin across his left side, chest and shoulder. A scar he would hold for life. Lulubell, however, wasn't so fortunate. Scorched bones turning rapidly to dust remained. Tyki would have stayed and died fighting had the Earl not once again pulled him from battle through a checkered door.

He landed in the center of the room in a heap staring up at the jolly, fat man with his ever present smile. The Earl said something to him in a language he had only heard Road speak. A tongue that flowed rather than enunciated syllables. An explanation was provided as well. One that told Tyki to seek out new members and guide them should he need. The thought didn't process through Tyki's head as he couldn't imagine the Noah without their rather round leader, but he nodded all the same with a wry smile and a bit of disbelief. They really would be like lost sheep without him.

The Earl turned from him them turning to the door where the commotion was loudest. Tyki saw his expression change to one of pure fury. It was a sight he never had wanted to see again. The eldest and leader of them tossed Tyki his trusted umbrella, Relo, and headed back out. Smoke was filling the halls by this time, and it seemed almost fitting for the Earl to slowly fade from sight in such a manner. It was so similar to how he greeted those he turned into Akuma. Emerging from the dense fog in the dead of night.

Tyki didn't follow, but returned to the fray nonetheless. It was Jasdero and Devit whom he encountered next facing off an Exorcist or three he didn't know plus General Winters to boot. He couldn't pass up such an opportunity, could he? Luck seemed to not be on their side, however, and a particularly nasty blow from the General sent Tyki's vision to black with the sounds of battle ringing in his ears. That, too, eventually faded.

Being dragged was the next thing that Tyki Mikk remembered. That and the terrible heat that was getting farther and farther away. When his eyes decided to cooperate with him, he saw the form of Allen Walker dragging him out with a determined look on his face. Not that he wasn't always determined when it came to saving lives, but this look held another emotion. Regret? Hard to say what emotion was running through Allen Walker's, and only, Allen's head. The Fourteenth had confronted the Earl and challenged him for supremacy. In the end it ended in stalemate or, rather, double homicide. Both being were dead and their Noah memories returned to wait another chance of rebirth.

Once Allen had gotten Tyki to what he deemed a safe distance, he headed back into the manner. With the Earl dead, he believed the struggle over. No one else had to die that day. As Allen made progress back toward the manner, he was ambushed by Crow. Crow held in reserve and not strained by the battle. They took off Allen Walker's head for fear that the Fourteeth's being was still within him. It was an order that this boy should not live the night. Even though the distance was great and his eyes a bit shaky, Tyki saw the events unfold. He'd never forget the memory of it even to this day. Then a pain of a different kind engulfed him. He had no voice left to scream as it was scraped raw by the amounts of smoke he had already inhaled. It was overwhelming as if a committee had jumped into his head demanding he do a dozen conflicting things at once. He responded to the invasion of Noah memories in his head the only way he knew how. He blacked out.

Truth be told, Tyki wasn't the Earl's first choice. In fact it was Cyril. The man had a better chance of being proactive and finding new followers to the task. The particular spell or manner of ability the Earl had conjured would give the fallen Noah memories to the survivors in a certain order he had predetermined as he talked to over half of them. Tyki just happened to survive the longest due to the assistance of Allen Walker. Hence, the memories flowed to him. Not that Tyki ever figured this out nor would he care. All fourteenth memories of Noah were his to care for and find new homes for. It wasn't a job he was particularly thrilled about, but he took it up all the same.

In his fashion, anyway.

Tyki lost a few years of times as they settled out the living arrangements in his head and keeping a low profile. The Exorcists had thought they achieved a complete victory in killing all the Noah. All that was left was to find and destroy the various Akuma scattered about the world. Joyd became the ring leader by default being the one Tyki was most comfortable. The memory of the Earl, Adam, didn't seem to mind taking a back seat and watching the events unfold. It seemed more of its style. Lustul, Lulu Bell's form became the second most familiar. A pride and vain man Tyki was, he used the ability to hide the scars from Allen's failed exorcism and the scars from Lavi that wrapped around his left side. It allowed him to appear human even if he was in his Noah form and that was convenient. He found that of all the memories it was quite similar to Joyd and suited his personality well. Wrath, however, was quite the opposite. The constant anger and blind hatred routinely conflicted with Tyki's personality leaving him in fits of rage he wasn't pleased by in the least. As time grew, they got worse and worse to the point where Tyki being alive and well being found out by the Order was in jeopardy. Joyd and Lustul sealed Wrath way in the depths of Tyki's mind.

Unlike before when Tyki only had Joyd, the Noah memories take on a different form. They sit as specters on the edge of his vision. Sometimes he will see Joyd playing solitaire at the kitchen table or dreams twirling about in the living room. Others can't see them and when they communicate with him, they do so wordlessly. They don't form words, but convey ideas to him. More often then not, they don't make sense. At first the ghosts bothered him, but after enough time he was able to block them out. All of them weren't out all the time after all. He would just glimpses of them from time to time.

A few years passed and Tyki for the most part remained idle almost fitting back in with society. News of Akuma attacks lessen. Exorcists no longer patrol the streets. Tyki spent his days taking up job and wandering from town to town becoming a jack of all trades. The Earl had hardly given him a manual on the subject, so he didn't really know how to go about finding new Noah or even how to impart the various Noah memories to them. Challenging the Order alone was an option he didn't entertain. As much as he put pleasure before work, he wasn't a fool. There would be no success in that. Tyki's routine began to take a turn of more or less existing day to day. The drive to take action and scheme leave him. Thoughts of even rebuilding what was destroyed being to fade from his mind.

One morning, however, he awoke to a terrible sound. A scream that wasn't human and an aching across the Exorcist scars on his chest. He rushed out of bed tripping on his own to feet to find the source of the sound. Tyki ended up making it to the balcony window of whatever place he had decided to crash for the evening to look out the window. What he saw was a creature made of white walking away from the scene below him departing. He didn't know what it was as he had never encounter the Acrophyos, the Guardian of the Heart of Innocence, before. He knew something was terribly wrong so he dropped down to the ground level. Pieces of what could only be described as large snowflakes made of black glass sprinkled to the ground. As they hit the floor, they winked out of existence. There were hundreds or even thousands of these pieces falling. It would take him a moment to realize what they were. The particles were the fragment of Dreams. How the memory had wandered off in the night, Tyki couldn't guess. How that creature found it was even more of a mystery. However, Tyki knew one thing for certain.

He could no longer feel the memory of Dreams in his head. It was if the creature had killed it.

Tyki's life returned to the same routine of day to day, but as he wandered from town to town, he kept looking for Dreams. A part of him refused to believe it could be destroyed so easily. Of the memories, Dreams was one of the most resilient as destruction simply meant it could hide in the world of the restful until it got strong enough to return. He was hopeful that was the case.

The other memories began to get agitated understanding what the white creature was where Tyki could not. They also believe one of their own not gone due to arrogance. They wouldn't leave of their own behind if they could help it. They urged Tyki to keep searching and found places where Dreams would mostly likely crop up. It was through this searching that Tyki stumbled upon the Ark now abandoned. His entrance way into Emerald.

Welfare Assessment: [Because of the environment of the game, we want you to consider how your character will handle it carefully. This doesn't have to be set in stone and we all know well how unexpected things happen once in game but try to give your best guess. Sanity Effects should be measured based on

☇ lucidity - how much hallucinations, nightmares, horrors and the like effect them
2

☇ stability - the ability or inability to generally carry on without having major breakdowns or cracking
5

☇ normalcy - general behaviour patterns on fitting in or standing out and how well they can resist falling into unusual temptations and keep in line - whatever that might mean for them
3

General state of mind
More insane (is that even possible?)
Superficial attachment - explain new White vs Black
Long Term Goal - to destroy the place. That's why the memories lured him here after all. Will he succeed. No. But that doesn't mean he won't try.

Here you should also consider the time period and how that might worsen the character's condition. Will the lack of modern conveniences be distressing? Will the character seem likely to run themselves ragged trying to help or fight? Will the less than ideal weather and air pollution cause them to get sick often? These are just some things to consider.]

Arrival Choice: Wrong Turn
The monotony of it all was endless. No person to greet him. Why were they be? They were all dead. No plants to blossom in the spring air. They had all withered away? The landscape was barren.

But don't get Tyki wrong, he enjoyed every moment of it. It was peace. It was perfection. It was accomplishment.

An endless cycle

And they spoke to him. The voices that danced in his head. Sometimes they would walk with him. Shadows with no foot prints. Voices with no sound. They were his companions forevermore.

Come with us

The Ark so dead and dormant reflected in the sky. As it laced the sky with cracks and marks like a jigsaw puzzle, it looked different from before. Each individual piece was not neatly carved. Some pieces didn't even fit together. But in the end, it matched. Matched the debris around. Matched this world torn asunder. Tyki's, no Noah's, greatest masterpiece.

A new home

As each jigsaw piece of sky fell the ground it carried a number. 35. 114. 42. Some shattered when they hit the ground becoming useless. Others hovered in the air. They all spread around him. Which to choose? Which one was right?

A new place

Did it matter? Tyki selected one at random. A prime number even if he didn't know what that meant. The doorway has lain itself across a large swatch of pushed up dirt and stone. Close. Convenient. Easy to walk through.

And so he did.

A new play~ ♥

Skills, Abilities & Weaknesses: [This section should be standard to most people. List and describe your characters abilities. Things like magic, exceptional swordsmanship - or even crappy swordsmanship - engineering, math genius abilities, super good at cooking, anything that might be good to know and something your character demonstrates a skill for. This is also where important weaknesses go, if say your character is deathly allergic to certain rocks. It's a skill of sorts.]

The Earl has an umbrella with him known as Relo. It can talk, has a mind of its, own and can lift him about. It can also turn into an over sized sword which the Earl battles with.

The Earl is the oldest and ring leader of the Noah. He is the orchestra of the scheme that he has been planning for over 7,000 years. His main ability is to create an Akuma by convincing a grieving soul to call back their loved one from the dead and bind their soul to a mechanical body. The more the Akuma kills the stronger it becomes and can evolve. The Earl can also control the Ark, a creation outside of space that can open portals along with creating destructive black energy blasts that can level large buildings.

Joyd - Third Disciple
Fully Awakened
(Joyd)

Joyd was the original Noah memory he had, the ability of choice. It allows him to interact with the world as he sees fit. He can walk through solid objects and the floor. He can interact with parts of objects such as pulling out a person's heart without doing any damage to the other body parts. He can also stand on air as if it were solid ground. If he concentrates, Tyki can use this ability to form energy throwing out blots of 'Dark Matter', the substance from where Noah power comes from. He can also create a vacuum of empty air in which to suffocate enemies by choosing to reject all the air in a single spot.

The Earl has created the ever so manly mechanical butterflies called Tease and given it to Tyki as a weapon. He usually puts them inside of people to eat their organs. When the feast on human flesh, they multiple and evolve into larger butterflies. They can also become large, four pointed white shields that he uses for attack and defense.

Fully awakened, Joyd is a creature more prone to laughter than words. He takes great joy in his victim's suffering. His abilities are swapped with faster speed, strength, and tentacles growing out his back that act like limbs. Joyd is able to send shock waves of energy at his targets damaging them from a distance. He is more agile and can still hop about as if gravity and concepts such as solid ground don't seem to affect him. He can also redirect items aimed his way. Joyd was able to redirect bullets from a gun fired toward him.

Unique World Traits: [This section serves two purposes. One is to list off any items your character has brought with them. Depending on how willing or unwilling their arrival is, this might vary a lot. Try not to go too overboard. No one is going to allow them to pack up their city but a few bags won't hurt. They may bring pets or sidekick mascots on the condition that those things cannot be apped by themselves. For example, Appa from Avatar The Last Airbender may have a clear personality but couldn't be apped as a character on his own.

Secondly, this section allows you to contribute to the game by bringing something from the character's world. Perhaps there's a monster you think would work well in the setting that you want to start appearing. Or maybe in your character's world, magic only works thanks to the existence of certain particles, which can now be found here. Again, we will judge this and ask to tone it down or pick something different if it's too much but it doesn't hurt to ask us. What you choose doesn't have to be connected to your character, nor does it have to be chosen or put into play now. This is for the benefit of players to add to and effect the setting while also giving a boost for individual plots.

For characters coming from normal worlds, this might seem tricky at first but we're happy to work with you on ideas and encourage players to get creative. If you can't think of anything now but want to reserve the idea for the future, then say so and be sure to email us once you have an idea.]

Speaking Sample: [Time for the dreaded samples. The speaking sample requires [insert min. requirement here??] so we can get a clear idea of the character's voice. While there's no strict prompt, we do suggest it relate to the setting somehow to show your own understanding and that you've read through what's needed. There's no format restriction, though we suggest again to look at the formats most used for the game and consider using one of them. Your character could be explaining something or giving their reaction or their reasons for coming here or why they hate it or don't mind it. Please, no meta use like in dear_mun, however. We want to be able to read this part and get a clear idea of the character's voice.]

Prose Sample: [This section needs only to be done once, when first apping into the game. Any characters you toss in after won't need this section filled out. All we want here is to see that you can write prose decently. No one needs to be amazing but proper spelling and a grasp of writing should be demonstrated.]

Some say the best things come to those who wait. Or maybe that was to those that wander. Either way the day had brought a surprise for Tyki to say the least. An evening stroll for cool, crisp night air and solidarity in a crowd that only the night could bring enticed him that evening. He was more than willing to oblige. He was just getting to know this place after all. Its sights. Its sounds.

Its people.

He can't exactly remembered how it happened. Had she tugged on his coat? Did he walk into her? All that took a backseat to the fact that none other than Road stood before him, spiked hair, short skirt, all the way down to colorful stockings. His surprise deepened when she scolded him for asking her name. She replied soon after.

Road Kamelot.

There was one small problem. She was dead.

He spent the evening with her wandering about the streets. Sometimes she skipped in front. Other times she hung to his arm. Tyki answered every question about the city she asked of him more blunt and truthful than he normally was. When she asked about home, though, he skirted. She noticed, but didn't pry. How odd. How odd indeed.

The night grew longer and longer. Time enough that most people had retired. Tyki brought her home. Not his usual woman for an evening. There wasn't wine before bed but hot chocolate instead. An odd trade he didn't mind. Not this time at least. They talked about everything and nothing like two old friends catching up before she grew sleepy. He gave her the bed while he pulled up a chair. Another shared story or two passed between them before she fell asleep.

Tyki couldn't.

He was wide awake sitting in his chair watching the girl sleep. She was good. He'd give her that. The tone was right as were the answers. Everything he'd remembered in his mind and memories. The little girl who was more than a little girl but was part of the family. His family.

It bothered him like a nagging feeling of leaving the door unlocked even though it had been checked three times. It didn't sit right like lead weight in one's stomach. So why did it bother him so? It felt right for reasons he couldn't explain. Reasons he didn't want answers for. She wasn't her. That was the end of that.

But that opened the door to another question.

"And what exactly are you?"

Spoken quietly. Almost quiet enough that the noise from the street and the person wandering about upstairs in insomnia drowned it out. Road simply curled farther in the blankets her hair a mess and legs drawn up. Tyki sat back in the chair with his fingers interlaced watching.

He'd find out in time one way or another. Until then he meant to enjoy it.
