I went to St. John's last night for the Presidential Scholar Dinner. I have to admit that I didn't want to go, but I'm now glad that I did. The administration really went out of their way to make me feel like it was important to them that I go to St. John's. Because I put business as my major on the application they sat me at the business table. As I'm sitting there with my dad, the dean and asst. dean of the business school sit down at our table and just start a conversation. They stayed and ate with us and took time to answer all of my questions. They also had students come by to talk about the school, like Shamus Featherstone(I dare you to think of a name that is more fake). I left feeling better about college and very impressed with St. John's. I'm gonna give Hofstra one more shot, but it looks like the Red Storm have won. You guys should have applied, and if you did, go. Just ask and I'll give you all the info.
I realize this entry is boring so I cut the story down a few sentences. To summarize, I can live on campus, they're paying for all my classes and I don't have to declare a major until I'm a junior.
Before I end this, thanks to Zack for clearing up his Live Journal rules in my last post. I'm done.
