I don't guess anybody who's interested missed the good news about the elimination of that horrible hairy caterpillar on Jin's upper lip in Sendai. It's been fun to watch the rejoicing ripple through the blogs and timezones.

( And because I'm feeling weird this morning and trying to avoid some rewriting ARGH, here's my random and utterly uninformed speculation as to how the caterpillar was exterminated so quickly. )

I wonder what he's planning to do next. Somehow I can't see him giving up on his cherished facial hair project...

Cute! It's as good a theory as any. Jin's just got too pretty a face to get away with facial hair. Kame has the same problem - it looks fake on him as well - but I do recall one pic where Kame actually looked pretty good unshaven, and I've never seen one of Jin where I can say the same.

The only pic of facial-hair!Kame I can recall is a truly frightening thing - he looked like a hobo. I still have it somewhere in my 'curiosities' collection at home but unfortunately can't get at it right now.

The magazine pics looked terrifying, but there was a private one - I think he was wearing a Mickey Mouse shirt - where he looked good. I can see why 'Kame + facial hair' would be a curiosity, though.

I not-so-secretly want to see Junno with facial hair, just to see what he looks like...

He looked kind of nice on some of those pics DESPITE that horrible thing. It's very difficult for him to stop looking kind of nice no matter what he does, really. :-)

LOL I like your eyebrow transplant idea. Maybe it's some very odd sense of nostalgia...

I think he's kind of determined to keep experimenting with it. It's a gamble, these days, really: you open a magazine and wonder 'Will there be hair? WHERE will there be hair??' :-|
