Summary: What happens when Usagi grows curious about a mysterious gift delivered to her apartment the night before Mamoru is due back from a conference that clashes with their window of opportunity to conceive Chibi-Usa? But is she in for a surprise, or is he?

Comments: Wow, this is quite sensual for a show targeted specifically for young girls (although I know SM is one of those shows that goes beyond ages and is universal, as it should be). The cameo of Kiki's Delivery Service is awesome too. It somehow still shows Usagi being herself, and that despite on her way to becoming the Neo-Queen of Crystal Tokyo, she still retains that persona of a sweet, innocent person. It was also funny, and one scene in particular stands out for me- showed both how Usagi was innocent and gave me a chuckle 'cuz, lord, I seriously would have done that too. The scene in question being that Usagi mistakes condoms for ballons and strings them all around Mamoru's apartment for his surprise birthday party. It really should be read because it's funnier than my description of it. You know what's going to happen and that Usagi is acting like a ditzy blond (no offense meant to blonds in real life) but it still is funny to read when you get through the scene. xD; And then of course you keep reading, and it keeps getting sillier. Definitely a read for something to lift up your spirits, if nothing else.
Excerpt: "Usagi, stop daydreaming!" Luna chided, padding gently into the kitchen.
"Sorry, I hadn't realized. You know, I had important things on my mind…" I trailed off; fiddling with my brooch, pretending it was Senshi business I was contemplating. But, I'm afraid, Luna knows me far too well and she isn't fooled so easily.
